Flakpanzer Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 It is me again, this one is a crazy idea that I have a time ago, since this kit comes with the prototype decals I decided to do it of Macross. I added some extra armor to the fuselage. I hope you like it. Regards, Cristopher Quote
PetarB Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Funny thing is, I always thought the Osprey was a perfect fit for Macross. Great work. Quote
jardann Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Funny thing is, I always thought the Osprey was a perfect fit for Macross. Great work. Agreed, that low-vis kite symbol sure looks like it was meant to be there. Definitely a great job on the kit and I love the well-used look of the base. Quote
Iceblue106 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Flak, I love the "Ghostriders" tail decal you used.... It was actually my first F-14 squadron I was attached to way back when I was in the Navy. Anyways excellent job on the model and again great choice of decals. Blue Quote
ultimateone Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Dude, really nice job! Any tips on the base? Quote
Flakpanzer Posted June 12, 2010 Author Posted June 12, 2010 Thank’s guys for you words. Iceblue, so you recognized the tail jejejeje, I love the schemes of the VF-142 since little because when I was to young to built scale models, my father used to do it for me and one of those planes was a Ghost Rider Tomcat so when a friend of mine gave me those decals I said lets use them in a Macross scheme. MechTech Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Nice work! The Osprey does lend itself to Macross. I think because there was so much controversy and "what if's" when the newer Macross works came out, that they didn't use it for those reasons. It's too "old" for Frontier. I've been in one before, I'd be afraid to fly in it. The ceiling is 100% cables, wires and hydraulic lines. If somebody grabbed the wrong thing in flight... - MT Quote
