Flakpanzer Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 (edited) Hello fellows. I am Cristopher and I am from Chile. My good friend Cool8or has been requesting me to join this fabulous forum of my favorite series Macross so today I decided to do it and I am showing you my YF-21. I build it OOB except for the wheel bays that I added a little scratch. The figures are from a reissue of a Fujimi aircraft carrier personnel. I used Vallejos acrylics to do some of the effects and the Tamiya weathering set. Edited June 11, 2010 by Flakpanzer Quote
cool8or Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Welcome Flak! I'm glad to see you here. I love your base, give more realism to the model kit. And the deflated wheels also give it a nice touch. Excelent work!! Quote
Knight26 Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 very nice, but the colors look more Gamlin VF-22S, the YF-21, except for the cockpit, but I like it very much. Quote
jardann Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Great looking work! Your finish brings a lot of realism to that kit. Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing your inspirational work! Quote
Flakpanzer Posted June 12, 2010 Author Posted June 12, 2010 Thanks for your words fellows. Knight26, you are right, the color looks different from the one on the canopy because I used the decal for it. Regards, Flak Quote
derex3592 Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Great build!!! I so need to build this kit someday! Quote
Grayson72 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Very nice, I like that you gave it a flat finish, I think at that scale it looks much more realistic that way. Quote
