cool8or Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Amazing! I'm in shock! But please post more pics with correct transformation in attack mode. Quote
KiriK Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 i never had a clear idea of just how big this beast is, but having it larger than most lawn ornaments sitting on your patio table just makes me sadder that I'll probably never have one of these. Jaw dropping really and probably the most impressive custom build and paint job of this model/toy. AMAZING STUFF! now whoever ordered this up from Kurt, how can we get this to MW Con and share this awesome custom with everyone? =P Quote
Knight26 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Lord knows if I had the money to buy one of those I would shell out the extra few hundred to have Kurt do it justice as well, lovely job. Quote
hevangel2 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I am surprise the head cannot split in ship mode. Quote
wm cheng Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Wow! Absolutely amazing and flawless work Kurt. A big congratulations is in order. It really is a feast for the eyes! Keep up the amazing work. Quote

bigkid24 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Now that is freaking pretty. Great build and paint job. As everyone else, I'm pretty jealous that it's not mine! And to the owner...you're obviously a baller to buy one and then to have Kurt paint it for you so how about sending it....hmmmm.....or just bringing it to MWCon. Quote
boyarque Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 I have to agree with Graham, Yamato DOES need to hire you for their commission, lol! Respect the guy who have the funds to buy one of these beauties, and respect the guy who manage to put all this together! Hope the replacement hand reach u soon... Quote
Uxi Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Who's gonna photoshop TV colors on there? Seriously, though, looks awesome Quote
titann0609 Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Wow! Great work Kurt. May I kindly ask if this model that your great work on; is the one that gonna cost us $3K+ to get it imported to US? Quote
Godzilla Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Kurt, I will say it again and again: you never cease to amaze me. Every time you post your customs, I'd swear it gets better and better. Your attention to detail is impeccable and outstanding especially the Macross City in the leg of the DYRL SDF-1. Damn good work. I really think Yamato need to have you on their production or prototype staff. Again good work. Quote
eyl Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 I am surprise the head cannot split in ship mode. The movie version does not have split head, TV version does. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Meh, I guess it's okay if you're into big scaled amazingly sculpted and masterfully painted Macross awesomeness. Quote

Mechamaniac Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 "I click on MacrossWorld and I see Kurt's thread and I....." Quote
Million Star Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Although the city detailing on the other Macross is better this is my favorite build of the two overall. The overall sense just feels closer to DYRL on Kurt`s build. Amazing work and congratulations to both owners though. Quote
atreyu2112 Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Looked at the other one first but this one is just as amazing! Totally sick paint job man. That thing is HUGE. Quote
