Vostok 7 Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 なお撮影禁止でしたが、やまとWEB限定で「1/60 ゼントラーディ軍服SET(予価8295円) Photo not allowed, Yamato web limited "1/60 Zentradi uniform set 8295 yen" Quote
kanedaestes Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I WANT!!!! I am even more happy with my VF-1A TV Max purchase Quote
Vi-RS Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Do they? I've seen more people talking about it being the 1/60 scale outfit for the VF-1A TV Max. The VF-1S Roy next to the Regult is supposed 1/60 scale. If that's outifted VF-1A TV Max, then it will look more like 1/48 scale which I don't think Yamato is intending to milk. The 1/60 scale is HOT now. Quote
m0n5t3r Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 well, the arm that's showing looks just about the same length as the 1S Roy there... plus it looks like it might be on an acrylic riser... hope there will be official pics soon of everything in the event. Quote
BlueMax Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 2nd that. The partially obscured uniformed thing seems to be on a clear plastic riser. Quote
ff95gj Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 If something is in a public show (is that a public show or industrial show?), why we can take no pictures of it? I hate it that we need to guess by looking at part of an arm. Quote
CF18 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 If something is in a public show (is that a public show or industrial show?), why we can take no pictures of it? Thursday and Friday are business people only, Saturday and Sunday open to public so we should see more photos later. Quote
ff95gj Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Thursday and Friday are business people only, Saturday and Sunday open to public so we should see more photos later. Thanks! There aren't enough photos for Macross... Quote
CF18 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 source May be HLJ can carry it like some other limited items? Quote
Vi-RS Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 2nd that. The partially obscured uniformed thing seems to be on a clear plastic riser. yes, it's true and it's been confirmed. Quote
mechaninac Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) yes, it's true and it's been confirmed. Confirmed then, and for over $85.00 too. But what I'd really like to know is if this dress-up set will be able to be worn by the VF-1 in GERWALK mode... just before the overload and subsequent explosion, of course? And another thought... will it come with 1/60 Misa and Hikaru figures to awkwardly cozy up in one pocket and a Kakizaki one for the other? Edited May 17, 2010 by mechaninac Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 yes, it's true and it's been confirmed. Now that is prety bad ass!!! If Yamato is going to maket uniform out of cloth, then why not do the same for Britai and skip the whole sofubi edition. Quote
Maiden Japan Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) Something like this? (Picture was taken at MWcon last year) Edited May 17, 2010 by Maiden Japan Quote
ff95gj Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 I always plan to have a local doll clothes maker to make that uniform for my 1/48 1A - and before I move my lazy end the official set is here! For 1/60 though. I don't know what my wife would think of me. Playing toys in one's late thirties is immature (which I happily do not argue about), and now I buy clothes for a robot. Quote
UN Spacy Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Max is looking like a BAUCE. With his VF-1A on sale at HLJ I might have to pick this up. Quote
jenius Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I just placed my order... but this outfit costs as much as a 1/60 V2 Valk so I'm not sure how I convinced myself to buy it. I'll probably turn around and sell it with my Max TV-1A a couple months later. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I'm getting one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
jenius Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I just asked a friend in Japan. I'm sure TokyoHunter or someone similar will make it more readily available. Quote
Tober Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Where can I order this? You could email HLJ.com and see if they are going to stock it. I'm not sure if Overdrive still order in exclusives, but you could email them too. $100 + 3rd party fee + shipping is a hefty kick for a few pieces of cloth tho. Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Graham, Would Yamato ever consider making this available for the 1/48 TV Max Exclusive??? Oftern, the 1/48's get re-issued. Why not this? Quote

Well, since it's just a few pieces of cloth, hopefully shipping won't be too expensive. It'd be great if we could get a group buy for this in The Bay area...eugimon??? Quote
Guest sh002 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) that zipper is too big and the cuffs of the pants could be better Edited December 9, 2010 by sh002 Quote
Old Man Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) that zipper is too big and the cuffs of the pants could be better At least it's a YKK zipper...anything else always ends up binding on me eventually . I'm just glad they made it so you can have the thing in gerwalk mode. I never thought I'd be buying doll clothes, but I'm definitely in for this one. Edited December 9, 2010 by Old Man Quote
Mechapilot77 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 While that is cool as all hell i can't justify $100 for some cloth. I never particularly loved that scene anyway except the gerwalk mode part of it. the valk passing for a zentran just wasn't believable enough even as a little kid. Quote
logos Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Damn Web exlusives! Maybe we will get lucky and in a few months you will be able to buy the TV max with the cloths? Ack I am living in fairy land again. Quote
Jasonc Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Yep, stupid web exclusives. If there is a group buy started, I may jump in on it, but I'm not paying some outrageous 3rd party fees and shipping for something you technically can easily pay someone here $50 to make, and not have to worry about the other prices. Gatsu Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 100$ for that rag!!!!!!!!I think YAMATO consider Macross fans as chikens to deplume!!! Who's gonna be the chiken??? Poohooppoppopopoooooooooooo iické!!! Quote

Poohooppoppopopoooooooooooo iické!!! I wouldn't go that far...some people with that much money to spend will probably fork over the money. However, I've got some friends that are really good at sewing, and as this is a small production web exclusive, they're still probably made without the care and concern that a friend or good sewer would take if doing just one. Not to mention the fact that the zipper really is huge. Gonna have to go through my large G.I. Joe figs and see what I can come up with. Quote
derex3592 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 a HUNDRED bucks??? WHAT??? uhhh nooooo----PASS. that's insane. Quote

Everything Yamato did recently is insane, the price of the SDF-1 1/2000 got no justifications, neither the price of the battle pod; considering that they sell toys whose plastic cracks without reason even if you don't touch it after paying lot of money....
