Dobber Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 I would be interested in one, but if this is going to cost more than a standard transforming 1/60 VF-1 I'll pass. Chris Quote
Vi-RS Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 That's the reason that most toy manufacturer is going for web exclusive, or the worst limited run in expensive resin release. Quote
ff95gj Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 The VF-X toy cannot be more expensive than a transformable VF, because it is transformable. The VF-X is non-transformable, but the VF-X toy is not really a VF-X. It may not be anime accurate, but I like the idea. Quote
m0n5t3r Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 (edited) cool! i'm perfectly fine w/ that... now to add it back on my to-buy list... Edited May 27, 2010 by m0n5t3r Quote
Graham Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Looks absolutely beautiful. I love the color scheme. Definitely will make a fantastic display piece. Congrats to Yamato on making this. Graham Quote
General Chaos Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Oh wow! Now I want one. I would never transform it but it is nice option to have. Very nice scheme indeed. Quote
hutch Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Yeah, I'm in for a group buy on this. Fantastic looking toy and couldn't agree more, it's a fantastic looking color scheme. Quote
anime52k8 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 that's actually pretty cool, too bad I've got other things to save up for. Quote
Retracting Head Ter Ter Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 When is this coming out? I want! Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Another one that makes it to the buy list Quote
Vostok 7 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 IT COMES WITH A -1A HEAD!!! Very VERY WANT!!11! Quote
takatoys Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Very nice scheme, this will probably be my first 1/60 VF-1A. Quote

Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Eh holy %^&* it transforms? EXCELLENT! Looks great! Quote
KiriK Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 haha, what a cheap way to make a VF-X toy but just adding that extra piece to cover the arms. Not accurate by any means, but at least it's a cool paint scheme. may be tempted to get this Quote
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 THIS will be my low viz(might pick it up) until Yamato makes another low viz. Quote

Not accurate by any means, but at least it's a cool paint scheme. may be tempted to get this There's lots of extra detailing to make it similar to the VF-X, all the extra vents and things. The color scheme is FANTASTIC, and the included -1A head immediately puts it in to HOLY MOTHER OF WANT!!! Quote
UN Spacy Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 So this isn't another web exclusive? I don't have a VF-1A variant in my current collection. I kinda want this. Quote
Vostok 7 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 So this isn't another web exclusive? I don't have a VF-1A variant in my current collection. I kinda want this. It's a Macross Chronicle exclusive, not a web exclusive, but still an exclusive. Quote
Ghost Train Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Love the color scheme as well with the exception the big "TEST" written on the legs >_< . Quote

KiriK Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I'm not sure but I think the extra vents are paint apps and not molded detail. agreed, it's just a painted up 1/60 v2 VF-1A with an extra piece to cover the arms to make it look like a VF-X... pretty clever to do it though! Quote
Impreszive Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Yeah. I am down for this one. I swore I would never get involved with the exclusive nonsense, but here I am. Quote
Cent Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 who wants to place bets on the cracked shoulders though? XD Quote
m0n5t3r Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 THIS will be my low viz(might pick it up) until Yamato makes another low viz. exactly what i was thinking... if these were the colors used for the low-vis 1S, i would've been all over that. too bad it's another f'n exclusive... i'm gonna need to psych myself up to spend whatever will be the final price tag for this sweet looking bird. goodbye 1/60 Angel Bird, hello VF-X.
