Lobizon Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 According to Tokyo Walker, a convenience store franchise Lawson opened a new store "Lawson at Tokyo-III" in Hakone, the model city of Tokyo-III. The store is completely covered with Evangelion-related stuff and decorations. Eva fans have been rushing in the store and those Eva items and foods are sold as soon as they were put on the shelves. The store will close on May 17th. http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=202627 http://news.walkerplus.com/2010/0423/8/ Quote

macross_fan99 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Its been canceled already. The store was set up in a small town and there was such a flood of otaku going there that the company decided to stop the promotion. They had no parking and were causing too much of a hassle for the local population. Quote
