HLJ has gotten flaky on these. This no preorder thing is a drag. Anyone had any luck with another vendor on 35?

I've a feeling they are just going to just list them as in stock when they come in and skip the pre-order process. They usually come in stock on Tuesdays so we'll see tomorrow.

Complete:

Gallery II: Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II ~Lovers Again~ #35: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRgallery/MCRgallery.php#MII

- hmmm, didn't know the front image was specially made for TiAS. (What happened to that series? Bring it back!)

Episode: 7 22A: Macross 7 Eps. 22 "Men Of Blazing Heat": http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRepisode/MCRepisode.php#M7

- I still don't get the Fleet/City 7 arrangement with Akusho. It just makes the drama seem so forced at times...

RM++ Project:

Mechanic: M Zentraadi 04A: Quadoran-Roh: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRmechanic/MCRmechanic.php#SDFM

- aside from the subtle colouring changes in the Miria/general models, nothing outstanding to me.

Character D7 UN 01A: Gamlin Kizaki: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRcharacter/MCRcharacter.php#MD7

- the stuff on the VF-22S is interesting. Though Gamlin's "intuitively helping Basara" in a WTF situation brings a smile.

Does it say the cover binders will be available everywhere, or are they an shop/online exclusive? I assume with the limited run it will be the latter, but you never know.

Thanks in advance!

Only options given are direct from DeAgostini.

Character Zero UN 03A Edgar LaSalle: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRmechanic/7un11aMacross7EscortFleet.php

- huh... never really paid much attention to his helmet marks...

Worldguide 17A: Protodevilun: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRworldguide/MCRworldguide.php

- "Sea Of Spiritia"... interesting (in a philosophically deep sense).

Complete!

Mechanic: 7 UN 11A: Escort Ships Of The Macross 7 Fleet: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRmechanic/MCRmechanic.php#M7

- translation tweaked in places. Should make a bunch more sense in a couple of spots.

Thank you for that info.

If anyone who is able to order from them would be willing to help me get one of each I'd appreciate it. I would certainly pay extra for their time of course :-)

Mechanic: F SMS 03B: VF-25F Messiah: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRmechanic/MCRmechanic.php#MF

- in short, the 2-sided sheet was reorganized into the fold-out sheet, and only the opening blurb was revised/rewritten. That said, it was a headache, because not only did they move the content around, they changed the font sizes! >.<;;;

Episode: M15A: Super Dimensional Fortress Macross Eps. 15 "Chinatown": http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRepisode/MCRepisode.php

- "The Holy Land Of Macross". 'nuff said.

Episode: D703A: Macross Dynamite 7 Volume. 3 "Solitude -lonesome-": http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRepisode/MCRepisode.php

- Unusually they included 3 topics. All good.

RM++ Project:

Mechanic: M Zentraadi 05C: Noputi Baganisu 5631: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRmechanic/MCRmechanic.php

- most interesting is the content that has been moved from the B sheet to the C, and the content removed from the C sheet. Should we be looking forward to a D sheet?

Complete:

Mechanic: F Citizen 01A: Macross Frontier Civilian Vehicles: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRmechanic/MCRmechanic.php

- only 1 small change between the two versions. Otherwise, the translation has been cleaned up in a few spots.

RM++ Project:

Character 7 UN 04A: Ekisedoru Forumo: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRcharacter/MCRcharacter.php#M7

- a little bit thin on detail...

Timeline 28A: Macross City Defensive Battle (M): http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRtimeline/MCRtimeline.php

- LOTS of changes between the editions - too many, in fact. Nevertheless, the stuff on "The Blood Of The Zentraadi is gold.

Yeah. I first saw it in the mid '90s from VHS tapes of Macross that were taped off of TV. It's also been included on the the DVD and BD sets.

wait a second, at the end of the clip when they do the group pose in space, what is the mech at the very bottom?

RM++ Project:

Glossary 11A: Factory Ship Three Star - G: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRglossary/MCRglossary.php

- lots of groovy tidbits

Episode: 7 23A: Macross 7 Eps. 23 "Sound Force": http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRepisode/MCRepisode.php#M7

- the topics are surprisingly informative. Surprising in that they provide morsels of info on stuff not about the topic per se!

Episode: F11A: Macross F Eps. 11 "Missing Birthday": http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRepisode/MCRepisode.php#MF

- a bit more rounding out of the 33rd Marine Corps. They're popping up a lot in the stuff I've translated recently!

It has a VF-1 body... maybe a misdrawn variant?

Fanart variant head speculation of what the Cavaliers "Dark Bird" VF-1A looks like in Battroid?

BTW, does anyone have any info about the complete range of the partsforming SD Macross Bandai Kits being hocked by this OP that were actually produced back in the 90s? There is a screenshot of the VF-1J box in the extra report in the goods sheet for 35.

I used to have the SD VF-1J Armored Battroid, VF-1S Strike Focker, VEFR-1 ?VE-1?, and I vaguely remember a Q-Rau Max and Miria. Were there any more actually produced?

Character Zero UN 01B Kudou Shin: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRcharacter/MCRcharacter.php#M0

- the RM is thought provoking in some ways...

Character 7 UN 03A: Maximilian Jiinasu: http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRcharacter/MCRcharacter.php#M7

- were we ever given a reason during the series for his discord with Miria? If not, then the RM herein spells it out.

Timeline 29A: Launching Into The Sea Of Stars (FB,Plus,7): http://sketchleytranslation.host-ed.me/MCRtimeline/MCRtimeline.php

- some interesting stuff. Though, Dr. Chiba's room, and esp. his costume, still creeps me out.
