Namely panel-lining? The Wing Zero's wings are so glossy pure white, that the sculpted details are almost invisible. But I also don't want to wreck the high-gloss finish. Will Tamiya's panel line stuff (in the bottles) work well, or will it "eat" into the surface all over? (I will not coat the wings beforehand, they will be lined as-is straight from the factory). What about "pour" type Gundam markers? If you want to use a pen type panel liner, then GM20 Black, GM21 Gray, or the "Real Touch" markers should be safe. AFAIK, these are the ones that use water-based acrylic type ink. Edited September 28, 2019 by Vifam7 Quote

Graham Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Just finished MG Crossbone X1. Out of the box build, with some quick panel lining and a spot of paint drum Gundam markers on a few small areas, such as the yellow parts of the "X" thrusters and the grey trim on the weapons. Quote

hachi Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 OK, never mind my question. It's an KEN OKUYAMA X GUNPLA 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT. I'm interested, but probably not getting one right away. Quote
Graham Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Articulation looks amazing. Not a big fan of the RX-78 or 1/144 scale, but I may just get this variant for the amazing articulation. Quote

Not sure how I feel about the design decision to make the skirts 1 solid piece and non-articulated. When the Gundam kneels, the thigh actually slides out from the armour, then pivots at the end. This would probably be more natural looking on a Zaku, but on the Gundam, it is a bit weird. Quote

David Hingtgen Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Anyone interested in the P-Bandai MG EW Heavyarms kit? (OVA navy/teal). I'm thinking of selling mine. Quote
Big s Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I really don’t like the upper leg joint design of the g40. It just seems overly complicated and silly looking. Quote

Bobby Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Spotted a S.N.R.I. F-91 Test Type at the Æ facility over the weekend Couple shots from inside the hangar, sorry so small had to sneak my phone Quote
Duymon Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Usagundamstore has the FAZZ on preorder for 104 . PIcked up 2 with 3-5 day shipping for 204 (After 15% discount) which is way cheaper than I could ever hope to get them from Japan. Just have to wait an extra 4-6 weeks which is no biggy considering the insane backlog I have. Quote

badboy00z Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Recently finished Iron Blooded Orphans and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't even look into it when it was announced / released and it wasn't until I saw pictures of the up coming MG and that sexy sexy frame that the design grew on me. I needed something to hold me over until its release and discovered the Full Mechanics line. With the full inner frame and pretty decent color separation, I would say it is on par with early master grades. More pictures in the link. Gundam Frame Barbatos Lupus Rex Quote

JakCrow Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I'd prefer the full color unit instead of the white mass production units if that's what they're going to do Quote

That setup wasn't cannon in the series. Quote
lechuck Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 I held back on the ZZ Gundam because I sort of expected FAZZ to come, albeit as a P-Bandai - suprised it is not. But ouch... a price tag of 11,000 JPY, for me not very attractive at the moment. Quote
Bobby Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 (edited) Form feet and legs! Form arms and torso! And two HG 1/144 Astaroth 019 kits combine together to form Voltr...I mean Astaroth White Version! for comparison it shoulda looked like... Edited October 9, 2019 by Bobby Quote
Big s Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 I I ended up preordering a few sets of leo weapon sets, mostly because I was excited that there was an open hand option included. But it would be nice to build an army and load them up. Especially since the Leo is so cheap. Quote
