Urashiman Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I don't want to be a grammar-nazi in here (which is kinda weird, because I'm native german) but it is "VF-22 Sturmvogel" and not "Sturmvögel". "Vögel"(birds) is the plural version of the word "Vogel"(bird). One Vogel Two Vögel get it? Quote
Talos Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 Verdammt! You're right. Shows you how long it's been since I studied German. I think I got overzealous correcting people with Jäger and Kämpher (Gundam, obviously) and mentally connected that with the VF-22. Quote
Talos Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 Something else I've been fiddling with, using the FAST packs from VF-19 Master File and adapting to fit the YF-19/VF-19A I drew a while back. These are connected with a project I'm working on with someone, which will be kept under wraps for now. Quote
soul.assassin Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) A little break from the usual and my sense of humor at work (in progress), after toying with the idea of a C-130 'tour bus' in the aftermath of my SnT second helping. Update: It's done, guys! Edited October 30, 2011 by soul.assassin Quote
soul.assassin Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Update above. Sorry 'bout that. *sweatdrops* Quote
Talos Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 That's crazy and an interesting idea. Good job on it! There is one spot you should take a look at, on the top of the forward fuselage, there's some bleeding right in front of where the wire meets the fuselage. Some of the blue. Other then that, I didn't notice any problems. Quote
soul.assassin Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Okay, I noticed the bleeding now (lately my eyes are kind of screwy which means I'll have to get a new set of glasses), and a little touchup will do. As for requests, someone at the other forum wants me to "itasha-fy" an AC-130 Spooky. Quote
soul.assassin Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Sorry if I haven't produced a Spooky, but instead decided on doing something else: Quote
Good Duck Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) MOG! soul, your C-10 are sick! I totally love it. I want to print them out and put them up on my office. Edited December 1, 2011 by Good Duck Quote

soul.assassin Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) Extraordinary work you got in there, Rafe. From the look of it, I think you have a very extensive background in graphic work, and I'm sure you used some techniques and references from illustrations of IRL aircraft art. I'm totally impressed. That's gonna be a case of Tecate! Edited December 10, 2011 by soul.assassin Quote
soul.assassin Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) First VF-25 NUNS variant with USAF-style markings and a RAM-gray paintjob, a marked improvement to the earlier one-off profile of a SEAL-style SMS spec-ops unit. I thought of it while still brainstorming for a fanfic, in which (post-Vajra War) NUNS created a new elite special operations unit (patterned after the "Diamond Force") as a counterpart (and potential rival) to the famous and colorful Skull and Pixie Teams, but in response SMS Frontier is about to add a new Team with selected members gathered from other SMS units deployed in migration fleets. Mr March Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Because Rainbow Dash is best pony I think you just forfeited your man card. Quote
Knight26 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Because Rainbow Dash is best pony Gentlemen hand me the scissors, we need to remove your man parts as you clearly are not a man Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Wow, no brony love on the forum? I daresay I'm more a man, because I can feel perfectly secure in my masculinity, even while watching a show targeted at little girls. Seriously though, I really like how this one came out. Time to custom-paint a toy or plamo. Quote
chillyche Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Go get 'em Schizo! How can a tiny blue pony be so unmanly as to undo this man's love for transformable jet/robots? Be reasonable folks! A Minmay doll can bring a grown (very grown) Zentran to his knees! Quote
soul.assassin Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) To mark Kawamori's entry into the pop-music universe of Yasushi Akimoto and his girls (and for a bit of humor; I couldn't help but make this to get it off my head), here's a sideview of one A/C from SVAQ-48: Edited March 23, 2012 by soul.assassin Quote
Raptor One Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Because Rainbow Dash is best pony Nice, the scheme actually works pretty well Quote
Zinjo Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I forgot how fun this thread was, particularly with the "new" squadrons and air groups folks come up with... What is this "VERI-Tech" I've seen...? I've heard of OTEC, VF = Variable Fighter and Valkyrie... hmmmmmm Finally pretty much finished the YF-24-2 Evolution line art. This is based on the Master File one, with additional detailing, some cleanup, cockpit interior, etc added. I'm going to be using it as a base for my production VF-24A Evolution, as well as the rest of that family. There's some minor details that are missing, but I'll get around to adding those later. Can't wait to see those! Quote

SchizophrenicMC Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 hi there !..another artwork using the amazing line art from Talos !! I hope you like it... @Zinjo VERITECH stands for Variable Engineering and Robotic Integration TECHnology Thank you all for your comments !! your friend RAFE He's mocking your use of the term from Robotech, which is generally laughed at here. The proper Macross term is Variable Fighter or VF. Valkyrie or Valk also works. Anyway, your stuff looks good, man. I like the shadows. Quote
RAFE-MX Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Damn !! ....Oh man I didn't know that !!..Thanks SchizophrenicMC (... to be honest I like the term "veritech" he he ) RAFE Quote
