ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Mospeada Gos/zu!!!!!!!! and yes.. Hovertank lol, i got a soft spot for it! Quote
Maiden Japan Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) Hmmm.. I see many people request Gosu from Mospeada. Was this character made before (Wonder Fest kits?), or would it be the first time if we make. Edited March 5, 2010 by Maiden Japan Quote
jenius Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I know of a company who thought long and hard about making the Gosu but elected not to pull the trigger. I don't believe they ever got it to prototype stage. Quote

Batto_man Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 My pics 1. Glaug 2. Gnerl 3. Zentradi Trooper Quote
herobot Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Hmmm.. I see many people request Gosu from Mospeada. Was this character made before (Wonder Fest kits?), or would it be the first time if we make. I put a same poll at Actoys.com,the most famous toys and collections forum in mainland China.Maybe it's useful for you. http://www.actoys.net/bbs/read.php?tid-453520.html Quote
Maiden Japan Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) Before we go down any further on this poll thread, I want everyone to clearly understand that the result of this pole does not necessary mean that we're going release in those order. The whole purpose of this poll is just to see how much fans are interested on each character. And also I want you to understand is that in order to continue our vinyl collection toy line, we need everybody's support to buy our Battle Pod figure. And after we see a good sales on that figure then we can make a go sign and start designing the next figure. Edited March 6, 2010 by Maiden Japan Quote
macrossnake Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Glaug and Monster please! And if you can do 1/60 scale in the future (as a soft vinyl toy), that would be great! Quote
Bri Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 A Macross Gnerl would be my nr 1 choice. Mospeada Inbid Iiagaa and Gurab second SDC Southern Cross Sylphide fighter third Quote

You might want to consider adding to the poll or starting a separate poll to see how many battlepods have been purchased by MW members or even at Robotech.com just to get a general idea of whether they are selling well unless you can get actual sales figures yourself. I have purchased one and may buy a couple more. Quote
Tober Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 It makes the most sense to follow up the Regult with the Glaug, but the Invid get my #1 vote. Thanks for the poll. Quote

Arthurius Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 (edited) My Choice is Invids / inbids / and intrepids!!! hehehe, sorry, i wish this was number one picked and the chosen one. At that price, i would buy ALL the invids types, and display it on my head if i cant find room in my house!!! Now, the order is hard to pick which invid I want, but here goes: 1) Black/White Invid Leader / Gamo, SOOOOO want this, but not sure it will be nice in this toy line 2) The red crab / Iigaa. Actually, this could be #1, specially for this toy line 3) Shock Trouper / Gurab (not the scout, has to have those big guns) 4) Gosu, i want the purple one, but any color woudl be fine!!!! I would want all these!!!! Edited November 24, 2011 by Arthurius Quote
Gian Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 This poll is freaking old I voted for all anyway Quote
Arthurius Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Oh my god, i didnt realise it, it is Cannon Folder fault!!!! My dreams have been shatered!!!! Quote
Tking22 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I still want my god damn TV sdf-1, c'mon graham tell yamato to do it already. Quote
Mommar Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I still want my god damn TV sdf-1, c'mon graham tell yamato to do it already. Agreed. And none of this DYRL repainted in SDFM color nonsense. Quote
SpaceCowboy Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Never liked Southern Cross. Never finished it. But I'd love to see a fully transformable Spartas hovertank. Quote
niomosy Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 The Hovertank and Invid would be quite awesome. Quote
Jasonc Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 The Invid would be my vote, as for the same amount of material, the Invid can be in scale to go with the Alphas. The pods were cool, but 1/100 scale is not a scale that I think people really collect. Just my thoughts on that. Quote
Radd Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Agreed. And none of this DYRL repainted in SDFM color nonsense. Tho, I'd totally pick up a DYRL style Daedalus and Prometheus set as alternate arms for the DYRL Macross. Quote
Twoducks Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 The Hovertank and Invid would be quite awesome. +1 Quote
derex3592 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 +1 agreed on a Hovertank. IF it were about 1:60 scale and done well. Fully transformable, with a snap on "canopy" and a Jeane/Dana or some form of pilot. Quote
Jasonc Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Why are people voting on the Glaug, if they already have a prototype of it? It's like me voting to see a new VF-25S come out next by Bandai. Quote
jenius Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 a spartas in 1/60 scale would be tiny. Isn't it smaller than the legioss? Quote
derex3592 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 a spartas in 1/60 scale would be tiny. Isn't it smaller than the legioss? Maybe closer to 1:48 then??? Good question...definitely not as big as the old Matchbox one though! Quote
SpaceCowboy Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 What are the official heights of the VF-1 vs Spartas? This site: http://ptn.home.xs4all.nl/Veritech/Valkyrie.html Lists the VF-1 as 12.7m tall (battloid) vs 6.2m tall for the spartas (battloid). If that is at all accurate then a same scale spartas would come up to about the waste of a VF-1. Also, at 6.2m, a average sized male comes up to about the knee of a Spartas. Quote
knoted Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 (edited) +1 for the Sparta Hovertank. More angular designs. ( even though, the open cockpit design in hovertank mode, is pretty dumb. ) ( this custom looks pretty cool, if that would be any indication : http://www.geocities...a/spaltus02.jpg ) Edited December 4, 2011 by knoted Quote
DarrinG Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Invids / Inbits in 1/48th to go with the masterpiece line. I would get multiples of any of the models... (although the red scout should come in a 3-pack because of the size) Quote
DarrinG Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Oh and PLEASE, please stagger the releases so that we do not get 2 (especially not 3) Gosu in a row. Fans get tired of essentially the same thing, release after release. "Mold-milking' is quite understandable, its the only way to make some of these small niche toys possible, but keeping customers interested by staggering things a bit should pay off. Maybe something like gray Gosu first, then a 2 pack of shock trooper and scout, then pink Gosu, then Gamo. Then end on a high note with the main baddy green Gosu (or put him first to kick off the inbits) If these are wildly successful you could do a pack of space scouts like I have here and other variations after that....
