F-ZeroOne Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Always loved this theme from "Project A-Ko"; apparently its called "Explosion" (you might remember it as the theme when Project A-Ko tries to out-Macross Macross!): And while we're on Project A-Ko. Akilae Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) What? I've seen the movie, I've seen the series, but I never seen this... I'm actually not quite sure where this particular vid comes from. I saw it somewhere back in college, and I *think* it was the music video for X Japan's "X", but I haven't been able to find any mention of it. It's got a good beat and the synchronization with the on-screen action is pretty good, so... Edited February 18, 2010 by Akilae Quote
shiroikaze Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Maybe it was made exclusively for the music video... Other than the movie and series, I remember reading long ago that there was an older OVA (I saw the animated gifs and static images of scenes that I haven't seen before). My search was pretty fruitless though because only like two sites briefly mention its "existence" and just about everyone doesn't even know about it. Strangely, I don't see the scenes in this music video either... but then again, it was a long time ago and I'm probably not remembering them properly. Quote
danth Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I like a lot of the songs in this thread! I guess I'm the only person in the world who thinks the end theme to Lodoss Wars is way better than the OP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDQTay-bWFY Also surprised nobody mentioned Galvion's OP, Lovely Chaser. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWkVhSeRIbI The song Full Moon Light from Devil Hunter Yohko is just awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTLURBklBpI I really like a lot of Macross music, here's a lesser known song from Macross II. Valkyrie Hunter D Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Wow, nostalgia is the word of the day in this thread! I never get tired of these tracks as they rotate in my playlists: - Perhaps the most positive sounding track in the BGC series. -One of the few good things Bubblegum Crash had to offer. Pure Stone - From Zillion, one of the greats-the games weren't too shabby either. - Zillion had a nice ending theme too! - From the Dirty Pair, the original damsels of destruction. Quote
