deri Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Hi, I'm back with my new custom, a VF-1A cannon fodder 1/48. The first step : line panel and light weathering Quote
deri Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 And with the FP : I have to finish few details, but I hope you like it? Quote
big F Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Thats some serious work you have done there. Many would not want to risk their 1/48 to do this just in case they got it wrong. hats off to you. I assume you used the dremmel and soldering iron technique, what did you use for the wite piping ? Getting it looking right is hard to do well done. Quote

Thom Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Real nice. I guess this guy - or gal? - came home on a wing and a prayer... Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Great job!!!!! I like your custom Quote
Skull-1 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) I could never do that as well as you have but from a technical standpoint I think the piping in the wings is probably better left out. Trust me. Amazing job. Took b***s to do that to a 1/48. Edited February 10, 2010 by Skull-1 Quote
rickyhunter Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 You are the master !!! really nice job, congratulation!!! Quote

valid Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 hi i'm a newbie.. and i was wondering. where did you get the pilot seat that came out from the batroid mode head? thanks Quote
PetarB Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Just beautiful work. I never thought a toy could look so great. Quote
DARKWIND Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 That is love for one's craft if ever I saw it! That bird is hands down amazing. A true masterpiece. But I would hate to be the crewman who had to pull the all-nighter to get it back in the air! Hell they should give the pilot a VF-1S and a promotion cause it looks as if they gave as good as he/she got. Quote
miriya Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Every time I see this I am blown away. And jealous. Lots of coveting going on over here. want want want! Congratulations! Quote

KingNor Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I think the show was pretty adamant that the CF could NOT take this kind of punishment with out exploding catastrophically. NOT CANNON!!! Quote
