Well... Originally mechwarrior as you may know, had VF-1s included in its initial lineup. However, when FASA got into a bit of trouble with Harmony Gold over who had the rights to the VF-1s, they removed them from the lineup. This is a very very condensed version of what happened, so you'll have to look elsewhere for more info... Now, what may be possible is that FASA produced/liscenced some VF-1 toys, however I'm not even sure of that either. Quote

Lynx7725 Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Your description describes a major chunk of mecha in anime, so it's hard for us to help you. If you can come up with some distingushing marks it would help a lot. Quote
UN Spacy Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 I gonna take a wild guess and say...............Dougram. Quote

drifand Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 If it was a model kit, it could be any of a large number of lookalikes and semi-rip-offs made by Japanese model kit company AOSHIMA back in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. There were transforming F-4 Phantoms and even Harrier jump-jets... all with very cool box illustrations. They also made several robot kits highy reminiscent of the original Gundam MS. Quote
Ali Sama Posted November 18, 2003 Author Posted November 18, 2003 Did it look anything like THIS? no:( Quote
