ae_productions Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Spiderman is very suggestive in that pic Quote
Wanzerfan Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Looks like someone also snuck out some cellphone video of that shoot. Here's the new suit in motion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsZ9qFofOwo&playnext=1&list=PLF67AD599D7E1B64E&index=17 TMZ got a hold of that clip. Let's just hope they'll be able to remove the obvious Los Angeles landmarks (Disney Hall, anyone?) otherwise a lot of die-hard comic fans will be pissed off "in a rather royal way" (I could'nt resist the "Twice Upon a Time" qoute; Lorenzo Music was perfect in that film). VT 1010 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Spider-Man is an alien!:-P http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/19352/-spider-man-costume-ribbed-for-pleasure The more I see of this particular costume, the less I like it. I hope it's just a prototype wrestling suit and not the final version of the one he uses. Quote
areaseven Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 Another Shot of the New Costume Quote
Keith Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Another Shot of the New Costume Mommy, why is that man sodomizing Spider Man? Spider-Man is an alien!:-P http://www.darkhoriz...ed-for-pleasure The more I see of this particular costume, the less I like it. I hope it's just a prototype wrestling suit and not the final version of the one he uses. Who knew Spider-Man could be so homoerotic. Every single picture here is easily misconstrued in hilarious ways. Quote
troyness Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I hope they are stunt shoes that can be digitally edited later!! Perhaps the black crotch is to be also shaded later in post. I like the fact that the eye,s bulge abit , as compared to Sam,s " warped triangles". It might look good on screen..but closer shots have made me go from hot to warm . It,s abit too condom ribbed!! Quote
UN Spacy Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 The Spider-Man movies weren't the greatest in the world. But they sure did get the costume 100% correct. The new version is pretty awful. Quote
Golden Arms Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 The spidey costume is one of the easiest comic costumes to do in a film. How in the hell did they F$#@! it up so badly? Quote
Guest sh002 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 i liked the first movie spider-man costume. the only thing i didn't like where the embossed lines and spider. Quote
azrael Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 At least the mask looks right in the promo pic. Hopefully they'll put out a pic with more light...I'm not liking these black/dark background pics. Quote
areaseven Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 The reboot now has an official title: The Amazing Spider-Man Quote
troyness Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 It looks OK ,I don,t like the hands tho. Please don,t be disneyfied!!! Quote
Renato Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 At least the mask looks right in the promo pic. Hmm... Not to me, it doesn't. It just looks like a bunch of squares instead of a "webbing" pattern. But, whatever, I don't expect I'll be going to watch this anyway. Quote
peter Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I think they should have waited another 10 or 15 years to do a reboot....way too soon. Quote
Agent ONE Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I think they should have waited another 10 or 15 years to do a reboot....way too soon. +1 Quote
VT 1010 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I completely agree. If they did that though, they would have lost the rights. Fox has already stated how low they'll stoop just to keep X-Men, Daredevil, the Fantastic Four; I wouldn't be surprised at all if Sony were willing to the same. If only Marvel/Disney were able to get those franchises back... Quote
Agent ONE Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Wait, so does this mean there will be another hailstorm of bad superhero movies on the horizon? I'm already tired of these films, seriously I don't think I need to see another superhero movie for five years. I'll care what hero it is. Quote
PetarB Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I know, I think we reached saturation point a while ago. Still, Thor was fun. Quote
eugimon Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 whatever, no one is making you watch them and Thor IS a lot of fun. Quote
Keith Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=10050 I haven't seen that much ass on a superhero costume since Batman & Robin. Quote
troyness Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I hate wire work in martial arts movies, but I like the fact that so far alot of pics shown have a stunt man with wires, hopefully adding abit of realism to an action scene..as far as superhero movies go. Quote
protostar8 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Maybe it's just me, but the dude in the costume looks a little scrawny (or out of shape) to play Spidey. Quote
Twoducks Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I haven't seen that much ass on a superhero costume since Batman & Robin. Or crotch for that mater. Wonder if the computers will erase those slippers. Quote
the white drew carey Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 +1 +1 = +2 the thing I don't like is the costume material. I mean, where does a non-funded kid find some crazy material like that? Quote
Keith Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 +1 = +2 the thing I don't like is the costume material. I mean, where does a non-funded kid find some crazy material like that? Supposedly it's his trap suit, er "track" suit. Quote
Agent ONE Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Supposedly it's his trap suit, er "track" suit. Hey I ran track in high school. I was the high hurdler, also did the shot and discus. Yeah I know, I can do anything. Strangely enough though I don't remember the full body skintight outfit that I was required to wear for competition. Quote
troyness Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 It looks like he,s promoting safe sex with that ribbed condom suit, those shoes look to me like stunt shoes + the official promo shots we,ve seen have all had the feet shaded or hidden within the action pose. Quote
Keith Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) Hey I ran track in high school. I was the high hurdler, also did the shot and discus. Yeah I know, I can do anything. Strangely enough though I don't remember the full body skintight outfit that I was required to wear for competition. I don't doubt that, but that's what the implication from the yellow track suit promo pic. Once again, Kick-Ass beats out spidey-reboot. Edited May 13, 2011 by Keith Quote
Renato Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Those photos look awful. It looks just like the 1970s Japanese Spider-man. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcxioU7AMM4 Quote
hutch Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Looks like a SLIGHTLY better costume than Italian Spiderman, but not by much. Quote
