She reminded me of Char, a female version of the Red Comet. Even had a mask. As far as I could understand. The pilot in question is the sister of Tian Long, who was kidnapped on the planet that Vaj... Protod... I mean, there invaded by the villains. Outside the thing falls apart in the end, with that ruse of Macross 7, using controlled human pilots to fight against the Space Migration Fleet Quote
