kp_assman Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 had this bad boy ever since he came out but recently ran into a pretty serious prob... I, like most of you, transform a valk and pose them in different poses in different forms. while transforming him into fighter mode, i tried lowering the front wheel but to my shock, it just flopped down without any resistance. I have a spare vf1a brownie that i use for spare parts and tried removing the nose cone to get to the wheel area but found it pretty tough so gave up... HELP? Quote

Do you mean the landing gear doors that open independently of the main landing gear? Or do you mean that the nose wheel refuses to stay tucked away in the nose? Quote
kp_assman Posted November 18, 2003 Author Posted November 18, 2003 Finally a response!! sorry if i was vague but I was talking about the main landing gear (wheel and all) when i don't lower the main landing gear, there's no prob (the landing gear doors stay shut and all) the prob is when i lower the landing gear in order to support the plan. when i lower it, the plane flops down. there's supposed to be some resistance (heck, you're even able to pull it outward a little) but mine won't any more. it just dangles when extended. Well, in that case, you could try clear nail poish on the joints of the landing gear. Usually that, and tightening the screws (carefully, you do not want to strip the plastic) should yield a tighter main gear. Also, if you wanted a faster response, you should have posted in the "What's wrong with my Yamato, Bandai etc..." topic pinned to the top of the toy forum. Quote
