niVL@Boy
I'm wondering if HLJ would carry this at some point in time...i mean they're suppose to have made a deal with yamato to distribute their exclusives... just hoping
m0n5t3r
battroid looks really nice. darn the fan racer... now i wish i had bought the older one i saw in HK a couple of weeks ago for only ~HK$178.
hutch
I do wish they had tampo printed the "Angel Birds" on the leg. IIRC that was there in the ep.
nightmareB4macross
I'm pretty sure the "Angelbirds" lettering was never actually on the VF-1A's leg, but more of a custom script created by Hasegawa for their model kits. This is actually looking pretty nice. I really do like the ultra glossy finish on the Blue and Red markings. The markings on the head, well let's just say, I'm just not fond of the old 1990's fade. Mommar
Damn, I kinda always hated that color scheme but at the same time I love the way this toy looks!

eriku
Definitely looks better than the 1/48 version. I'm a sucker for the Angelbirds deco, but I haven't decided yet weather to get this. It really bugs be that the fan racer isn't painted with a Hikaru figure as that would have been a perfect set.

nanoplasm
Just finished calculating the cost for the group buy. It will be 16950JPY (+ bulk EMS shipping + domestic shipping) for each order of the Angelbird + Fan Racer. The mark-up includes Yamato internal shipping/processing fees, paypal fees, and a less than $20USD tip to the Japanese contact. Please let me know if there is still an interest in doing a group buy for this.

Hopefully I can find someone that will take that off of my hands. and Nanoplasm, is this from Macross Chronicles #48? If so will you need to buy a copy of the Mag for each order? I'm wondering because I haven't ordered that issue for my collection yet. I don't want to end up with 2. We got three copies of MC#48 just in case there is a demand. We have to cut stuff out of the magazine in order to place order, so I got an extra copy of MC#48 for 'collecting' purpose as well. Don't worry, we got people here collecting fan racers.
Fly4victory
Because the paint job is much better. The blue is darker on the 1/60 than the 1/48. Plus, the stripes are more like the 1/72 Hasegawa. http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG65758

Vi-RS
What did Tommy say? Tommy Edited June 25, 2010 by Vi-RS
