Custom VF-1A Alaska Base U.N.Guard

A day after the VF-1T (followed the day after by a panel lining on a friend's VF-1S 1/48), I made this little repaint of VF-1A TV to match the Alaska Base one, as seen in Macross during Earth Return episode.

You can see it now :

Personal Alaska Base Decals, as I've done for my VF-1T (and for my friend's Nylcbv VF-1A 10 Thunderbolt III)

Basis is a VF-1A TV Kakizaki, different scheme on tail fins& shoulders

Paint is handbrush as all other customs I made

OMG, mate, dont tell me your vf-1T is also handbrush.

So so so great!!!! Same as this baby.

but it will be best if the green color a bit more darker, now it is shinning and hurts my eyes ()

The semi gloss varnish has to be matted a little, but the green is darker, the picture has been taken with flash... and not even so far it should be

All my customs are handbrush made, I have an airbrush, but I'm not operational on it yet

Best thing I know for the moment is the handbrush, and it can't be fully replaced by airbrush, so, just have to be good in handbrush first

I loved doing the stripes on the VF-1T, was a cool moment... Probably make another Tiger in a few moment, otherwise I have 2 sv 51 to do, but with airbrush needed (no other possibility) on at least one of the two
