Dobber Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 WOOHOOO, just checked my account with HLJ. My order is in the processing for shipping stage! I guess they got their restock quick!!! Chris Quote
Phalanix Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Was on the fence about getting another VE-1 (have the first version), but after seeing the pics here, it just pushed me over the edge. Damn I hate this place!! Just received my v2 VE-1, wow what a difference from the v1! It's also much lighter (in colour and weight), which isn't a bad thing. Might pick up more v2's later on, even if it'll duplicate my collection. Quote
VFTF1 Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Finally found some time to take my Elint seeker out of its' box. I had the old version 1.0 of this thing not too long ago. It was my one and only version 1.0 1/60 from Yamato. In fact - it was my FIRST Yamato toy EVER. I was impressed with it back then (this was before the 1/48) - although I did find it to be really spindly and floppy in all modes - but certainly a beautiful beautiful piece of work. I so love this version 2.0 - it's amazing. Seriously. The grace with which the super parts attach, and the dome...man - that is just beautiful. And there are soooooooooooooo many tampoo printings - little ones - all over the place. They really went the whole nine yards. Very very happy with this guy! Pete (deliberating whether to put the cats eye stickers on the super packs...) Quote
robodragon Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Man I just got mine today and this thing is spectacular. I really love the look of this one. Definitely one of my favorites. Quote
holytoledo69 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 My favorite VF by far... I might pick up the Super Ostrich next.. mmmmm... Quote
Ivan Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 My favorite VF by far... I might pick up the Super Ostrich next.. mmmmm... I was going to pick up the VT-1 next, but now that there is a chance that it may have a defective shoulder (knurled pin), I will probably get the VE-1 instead Quote

Desty_Nova Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 finally got the ostrich.. smooth pins on mine.. another beautiful bird!! You can't be sure until you partially remove the pin. The new type knurling is extremely difficult if not impossible to see from the outside. Quote
holytoledo69 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 You can't be sure until you partially remove the pin. The new type knurling is extremely difficult if not impossible to see from the outside. No cracks on the shoulder hinge. Im definitely not going to remove the pin just to check lolz. Quote
Vi-RS Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 No cracks on the shoulder hinge. Im definitely not going to remove the pin just to check lolz. There is no way you know it's knurled or smooth pin unless you withdraw it. Quote
Tugas Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Got mine yesterday. Jesus, is ultra-tight!! So it is, that now I cannot detach the superparts of the arms Other than this, best yamato valkyrie so far...beatiful, ultradetailed, no flaw... Quote
Macross_Fanboy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 It's very nice, one of my favorites next to the Super Ostrich. Best VF-1 variant. I equipped mine with micromissiles and Reaction missiles for deep strike missions. Quote
Dr. Z Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I ordered one from amiami, should be here this week. Should I worry about the shoulders breaking? Quote
derex3592 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I don't think there are any reports of a bad ElintSeeker. Mine is flawless, easily the best ver.2 Valk to date from Yamato. Quote
Dr. Z Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 (edited) Cool. It'll be my first 1/60 since the release of the YF-21. Edited February 8, 2010 by Dr. Z Quote
derex3592 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Cool. It'll be my first 1/60 since the release of the YF-21. U won't regret it! (unless you're like the unluckiest guy EVER and get "Yamatoed" outta the blue....) Quote
Dr. Z Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Got it today, love it except for one thing. Stupid newbie question: are the shoulders supposed to be loose/floating (as in "not tabbed") like that? If so, that's kinda lame... Quote
moose Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Got mine today smaller than I thought. The yf 19 and vf 0s are a nice a size. Any way my radar flops any advice? Quote
BlueMax Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Got it today, love it except for one thing. Stupid newbie question: are the shoulders supposed to be loose/floating (as in "not tabbed") like that? If so, that's kinda lame... The shoulders are pretty much free moving to enable to fuller range of motions, not a flaw per se, though I can understand how people might perceive it to be. Quote
