F-ZeroOne Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) I have a couple of Yamato needle-nose 1/60 VF-1s I'm looking to get rid of shortly; I've been rounding up parts and have found a piece which I vaguely remember is a sort of "fill-in" piece for the torso. Trouble is, I can't remember if it came with the original, first release VF-1A (Hikaru) or the later VF-1S Roy with Strike parts. Any help, as always, appreciated! F-ZeroOne Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 Sorry, I don't know. Its the VF-1S which came with the Strike and Super parts. Quote
BlueMax Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Ah... I think I know... its the filler for the nose portion in fighter mode, where the legs attach in battroid mode. Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) No, I know what those look like. Its a much larger piece than that. Heres a pic, sorry for the truly awful quality; the flash kept wiping out the image due to the white plastic of the piece...! Edited October 18, 2009 by F-ZeroOne Quote
Lynx7725 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 If I'm not mistaken, that's a plug-in piece from the Armoured Valkyrie set, to go into the neck area to make it look better. Quote
Master Dex Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 That also comes with the 1/48s though probably larger. Just a fill in piece, on the 1/48s it helps keep the backpack from falling when the Super parts boosters are attached. I don't know about the 1/60 version. Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 Okay, so it might not belong to the 1/60s at all. Thanks! Quote
