Moly_Sigang Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Space Gundam V Ah the first time i heard of this was way back in 2007, on a thread on /m/ about Korean knock offs of famous 70's and 80's Japanese anime properties. Quote
Sdf-1 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Don't forget giant rats and SPACE SATAN! Go Korea! Space satan??? Now THAT I would really want to see. Quote
Gubaba Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Space satan??? Now THAT I would really want to see. Don't bother. It sounds cooler than it actually is. Quote
Vepariga Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 looks like one of those 'shoot-lasers-out-of-eyes-for-the-sake-of-shooting-lasers-out-of-eyes' and 'enemys-that-do-outragous=things-for-the-sake-of-outragous-things' type shows with a mash up of various animes lol. apart of me laughs, and apart of me turns away in fear. Mercurial Morpheus Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I still need to track this thing down. It looks hilariously bad. Sort of like that thing I saw in Bad American dubbing that ripped off it's character designs from first Gundam. Quote
anime52k8 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Don't bother. It sounds cooler than it actually is. Oh but it is as cool as it sounds! Keith Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It's kinda like Starman, mixed with a giant spider, boss borot, a giant rat, space satan a mangled VF-1J, some Gamilus Empire rejects, and extremely boring everything else. Quote

Will have to check the next time I'm by there and see if they've still got it. Might be worth the laugh if nothing else. It's kinda like Starman, mixed with a giant spider, boss borot, a giant rat, space satan a mangled VF-1J, some Gamilus Empire rejects, and extremely boring everything else. So we can slap a RT label and sell it as a HG series then? Quote
aurance Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I actually had a toy of this thing when I was growing up in Korea. I believe it was a rather well-made knockoff of the 1/55 Bandai VF-1J. After I moved to the States, I acquired a Transformers Jetfire/Skyfire, which was another 1/55 Bandai. So my first two Macross toys were from other franchises. It somehow feels kinda dirty now. Quote

ShadowValkyrie Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 So there might be a English version? I always wondered about that.... Maybe. Like I said for a dollar, I'll grab it and see if I'm by there in the near future and I think of it and they've still got it. I know in the past when I've bought "Anime" DVD's there for a buck, they've usually been native language or spanish dubs and really crappy transfers-- like 2nd or 3rd generation bootleg bad. Quote
