Why can't we be treated to Over-Dard versions of the Yamato 2199 girls instead?

what? (seriously, I have no idea what you're talking about).

Wow, I was totally going to buy the figure you linked to until I read the disclaimer about it. But yeah, I'd be curious to see how Yuki would look with those proportions...

I think I want to get this, but I'll most likely be in the doghouse if I do...

meh, subject is cool but the sculpt/finish just doesn't look all that great even in the promo shots.

meanwhile, I'm hoping I can snag this on release:

seriously, native stuff is kind of addicting once you get into it.

I just came across a articulated Dog humping an anime figure on HLJ

And the dog even has a red rocket..

Do I even want to know?

Why HLJ? WHY?

Because HLJ is a retailer and they stock products that manufactures produce that fall under the catagory of anime, manga, Japanese culture and other media related merchandise and collectables.

We should all be thankful that stores like HLJ and and AmiAmi don't moralize their stock and try to say, "We find this kind of content objectionable so where not going to stock it so bah humbug on you," like they where walmart or something. Freedom of choice, let the consumer decide what is and isn't conscionable.

As for why such a thing exists? Because Giga pulse; it's just what they do. Also, Giga pulse figures are kind of crappy and the only reason they can get away with charging the kind of money they do for figures is because the hardcore porno figure market is an extremely small niche.

I'm not dogging on that via moral ground, I'm just kinda like. Uhhh

I get everything else, but I'm pretty sure something like that is illegal in most

Counties to import.

Giga Pulse? Is that a animated thing or just a Hentai mag?

last one... it could be yours if you want it...

LOL that's freaking comedy-gold right there. Wow, lol. I wouldn't mind owning that but at the price they're asking I'd rather get something else. I will have to keep an eye on the Giga stuff though...

yeah, Some of their stuff would almost be worth it for the WTF factor alone if they weren't so expensive. Much better things could be bought with that money...

it took a very long while for a sizeable (1/8 or bigger) Erza Scarlet to be produced and they chose to do a bikini version when there hasn't yet been a "normal" version of her wearing her characteristic armor and despite the fact that she has multitude of very interesting armors/costumes. yeah, i'm grumpy <_<

^^^Love the colors on that girl...

she's from the Fairy Tail anime/manga series.

while i'm not as into Erza as the fan who made the screenshot montage i posted above, it's still a head scratcher for me.

imagine if there were only a handful of SQ or gashapon sized Sheryl Nome figures and the first 1/7 or 1/8 figure was made 3-4 years after the anime, and she's wearing something from an obscure poster rather than any of her iconic costumers from the anime.

of course Sheryl in bikini is insta-buy for me, but still...

nice.

don't know her either, but she reminds me of Feiris from Steins Gate

That is a nice one too. Have I ever mentioned that cotton-candy pink hair is my second favorite anime hair color after bright blue?

Kotobukiya showed some major figures at NYCC. All of them look fantastic. Spider-Woman, Star Wars Mara, Chun Li, and more. I'm pretty sure they made Macross kits back in the day. I don't know why they haven't released a few modern figures of Misa, Minmay, or those cute Bridge girls yet.

that one might get you a one way ticket to the dog pound :p

having said that, the face sculpt and overall finish on that one is much better than the pole dancer figure. i would buy it if it wasn't so damn big. 1/6 is my limit.

Koto also showcased these but have no idea who they are:

edit:

and this might be my first nendoroid

GSC01-450x600.jpg

to be anime consistent i should get 10,000 of them. but maybe i'll settle for a dozen :D

Don't forget Uchidome, the Last Order, either.

ooh, those seem like gashapon sized. even more conducive to getting in large numbers :D

btw, who's making them?

”Misaka Mori” by Kotobukiya.

That nendoroid is super cute, but I need to stop ordering random stuff just because I like the way they look. I've got too many figures on order as it is.

honestly, I don't think the sculpt is that great, the face looks kind of off, and the idea of shipping a resin piece that big across the pacific is terrifying but Jesus H Christ this is ridiculous; I'd just like to see what something that big looks like in person.

yeah, i know what you mean.

last month i donated half a closet of clothes so i can have more storage for figure boxes.

and two days ago, a package arrived to my surprise with some stuff i had forgotten about (Samus from Metroid, a Kobu from Sakura Wars, and a lot of N-scale buildings/accessories)

edit: more random stuff
