technoblue Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) Is it Yuki or one of the Iscandar sisters? Either way, I'm in. Edit: The flight suit theme is  Edited July 31, 2014 by technoblue Quote
Major Focker Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 i wish figure companies would wise up and realize that Macross Frontier girls in flight suits would likely outsell the Yamato girls. or at least the triumvirate should do well: Sheryl, Grace, Cathy Quote
anime52k8 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Macross has better looking girls, but Yamato and Muv-luv have better flights suits to put their girls in. Quote
Major Focker Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 you got a point. um, so maybe a crossover? Quote
Nekko Basara Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I don't know what's wrong with me, but I can't get over how cool the life-size figure's shoes are. Quote
technoblue Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 That life-size figure is looking really uncanny from certain angles. For instance, the legs... Really uncanny. Quote
JB0 Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Also the hair. Sweet Lucia, that hair... But on the other hand, it IS life-size anthrotech. Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 RealDoll needs to take a look at that figure and understand putting a colored wig on it and with the eyes slightly asiany and larger does not make an anime girl. (Yeah I know ewwwww lol!) Quote

Major Focker Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 missed out on this. other than HLJ, HS, Amiami, BiginJap, Plamoya, Rakuten, YAJ, Ebay, where else do you shop for figures? Quote
anime52k8 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Mandarake. They're the best place to get second hand stuff I've found. Quote
Marzan Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 That life-seize figure. Dear God...I wonder how that much would go for (if it was even on sale?)? Quote
Major Focker Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 depends. if it's short time or overnight. Quote
Major Focker Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Mandarake. They're the best place to get second hand stuff I've found. thanks. i keep forgetting to check there. unfortunately, still no dice for this one though on another note, just saw this from Kotobukiya now i'm torn between that and the GSC i preordered earlier thoughts? Quote
ErikElvis Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 i like the concept of the first one but the face isn't doing it for me. Id say #2 for sure. Quote
anime52k8 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) GSC > Kotobukiya just in general. thanks. i keep forgetting to check there. unfortunately, still no dice for this one though the set you're looking for has shown up their before, but it sells out fast apparently. also, whenever you're looking for something on Mandarake, be sure to look up the Japanese text for search terms. (myfigurecollection.net lists all that stuff BTW). Edited August 4, 2014 by anime52k8 Quote
Major Focker Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 yup. big fan of GSC, but Koto ain't too shabby . for mandarake, i pick up the japanese terms either from myfigurecollection or myanimelist. had it in my cart some months ago but sorta dozed off while shopping for other items. when i woke up i realized i was cart-jacked. renegadeleader1 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Does Mandarake work for someone in the States, or is this one of those hire a proxy buyer deals? Quote
wmkjr Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) They have various stores in Japan. Here's the website: http://www.mandarake.co.jp/ the type of language and whether you want the x rated stuff then you can begin searching for what you want. There is no proxy fees and they ship via EMS or SAL( i forgot the other shipping methods). Edited August 4, 2014 by wmkjr Quote
anime52k8 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Does Mandarake work for someone in the States, or is this one of those hire a proxy buyer deals? they sell directly to international buyers and have English speaking staff, no need for proxies. Quote
myk Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 "Order at your own risk.." I guess they're not too confident about shipping? Quote
anime52k8 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 "Order at your own risk.." I guess they're not too confident about shipping? They sell second hand stuff, so everything is sold as is. You the buyer assumes the risk that the item my have unidentified wear/damage from the previous owner, although I've never gotten an item from them that didn't look brand new minus a torn box corner or something similar. treatment Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) kind of cute. but not something I'd actually buy. I wouldn't mind seeing more figures of Sonico's even larger breasted blonde friend. Seems FREEing read you... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-007353 Wait. She is the "blonde friend" you're talking about and not Pochaco, right? anime52k8 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 This is seriously the first proper figure of Fuuri they've ever done, despite her being around just as long as Sonico (who has something like four hundred and fifty million figures, not counting repaints). Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Regards the cost of life-size anime figures; I saw a life-size (or near life-size) Belldandy in Tokyo once that was going for around 150,000 - 200,000 yen at the time if that gives you a rough ballpark figure. Quote
