saito is SO BOARRINNGGGGG... it's like he goes to work every day and says to himself, "how can I make my character designs as bland as a piece of white bread?"

did I mention that I burnt myself with a hot glue gun a couple hours ago? It hurts like hell and now I'm in a really shitty mood. I blame it on Yamato, those greedy bastards.

It's not about being bland or boring. The look of the characters is not dictated by the Character Designer alone. It's about basic figure drawing proportions... where Masayuki's style is pretty much similar to Saito's, the former decides to make 'em unique with those ape-like arms... at the risk of turning off people who like to see well-proportioned figures like me.

But hey, I hated Frontier character designs most of all, but I don't seem to have problems with the figure drawing, so there.
