Any fans of this series?

I admit I haven't seen any of the episodes and have only rudimentary knowledge that this existed... But recently, I read a blog suggesting this particular episode, and man am I blown away by how awesome it is. Naturally, it's frighteningly awesome... But I like this kind of stuff. Very Orwellian...

The episode is called "It's a Good Life":

Hell Yeah, I love the classic Twilight Zone. I always try to watch as much of the marathons as possible when they show them during the holidays. I really need to get the DVDs.

I watched, and liked, a few episodes here or there over the years but my favorite by far is Nightmare at 20,000 Feet from the movie. Creeps me the f*ck out to this day.

My personal favorite was "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street."

Just sucks when SciFi (sorry, "Syfy" ) cuts out some parts of it.

When I was a kid, my babysitter told me about it. Finally, one day when I was home sick from school, I got to see it. They used to show two episodes back-to-back at noon and twelve-thirty, and I think the first episodes I saw were bar none THE best intoduction to the show ever: first was the one with Burgess Meredith as the guy who loves to read but never has enough time to do so, and the second was the horribly disfigured girl getting plastic surgery.

I caught on to what the show was about pretty damn quick. And I liked it. ^_^

Twilight zone kicks so much ass.

To many good episodes to pick from but my favorite episode was the one where the guy walked back to his childhood town to find that he was back in time from when he was a boy. Deep episode no zany twist just a touching episode.

I loved that show. My favorite was the one with the guy that had the stopwatch that could stop time. "A Kind of a Stopwatch."

These also stand out in my memory:

"Five Characters in Search of an Exit"

"Time Enough at Last"

"The Eye of the Beholder"

"Once Upon a Time"

The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street

"I Sing the Body Electric"

"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" (of course)

"Walking Distance"

BTW CBS has a lot of eps available online from S1, 2, and 3.
