Agent ONE
I searched, but it may be a repost. REMEMBER THIS: The real thing: http://www.martinjetpack.com/video-gallery.aspx Edited September 16, 2009 by Agent ONE
the white drew carey
I think I've seen photos of that before, but never video. It is pretty awesome. Is it really a jetpack, though? I thought it used ducted fans instead.

the white drew carey
I just read some more info, it seems the unit is handicapped so that it can fall into the ultralight category under FAA regulations so that one does not need a pilot's license. Nice! Imagine what one could do if it was truly decked out, though?
Wes
Well I have a pilot's license so i want the decked-out version. And I expect lasers.
Dante74
I wonder how long it'll fly on one tank of fuel?

the white drew carey
I wonder how long it'll fly on one tank of fuel? The specs say it holds 5 gallons, with a 10 gallon/hour consumption rate, so about 30 minutes. But that's give or take on usage, probably. Also, the specs do state that the 5 gallons is the FAA maximum to fall into the unlicensed ultralight category. So, once again, if they decided to have a beefier version, it might come with a bigger gas tank.

Dante74
30 minutes is a lot better than . IIRC it'll fly no more than 30 seconds.
