newca Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 (edited) Pilot now has hands! We got control stick only and with hands on option! Air intaker cover for the Ghost. Detailing the sniper rifle. And the gun pod. Edited August 20, 2009 by newca Quote
newca Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 (edited) Almost all the small TVCs and antennas have been replaced by PE parts. The "net" in the intaker is kind of fiction, and to hold the "blinds". The detail inside the thrustor refer to the animation. There would be a small piece of decal sheet and instruction come with the PE set. And we are taking orders now at eBay, so, click and get it! Edited September 15, 2009 by newca Quote
Major Focker Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 wow! can you make a shopping list of what PE sets to get? Quote
ahiachris Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 wow! can you make a shopping list of what PE sets to get? I think he is going to sell the PE set to people here Quote
cobywan Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I think he is going to sell the PE set to people here For the love of God I hope so! Quote
newca Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 Yes, the PE parts would be in stock on-line in one month time. Quote
Thom Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Yes, the PE parts would be in stock on-line in one month time. No wonder I stopped building my Valk so long ago!! You are my Fracking God!! Give me my fix. Quote
shinagami Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 newca, since u r doing lots of PE detailing parts for the vf-25, i would also suggest replacement part for all the 'supposed' to be lighting parts with clear plastic parts instead what bandai provide with just stickers. can u do that? i think that will also sell...just my 2 cents though Quote
PetarB Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Intakes are good. Really good! The rest I'm not so interested in, but those intakes will really 'lift' the model dramatically. Quote
Grayson72 Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 I'm in for several sets, more detail!!!!! Quote
wm cheng Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Wow!, they look great! I'm definitely in for a few sets, depending on price. Keep us up to date, definitely interested. Quote
cool8or Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 I don't have any VF-25 yet, but I have it in schedule for next year. So... I'm very interested in these PE parts!! Please let us know any news about this proyect. Quote
Lolicon Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 I might be interested in a set. Especially interested in the cockpit parts. The default cockpit is the most awful and horribly inaccurate part of the model. Quote
mickyg Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 I'm definitely interested - the cockpit parts and sniper rifle especially! Any idea what sort of price we're talking? Quote
Thom Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Did I already say that I'm interested too... Quote
MechTech Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Awesome work with the PE parts! The level of detail has been significantly raised! - MT Quote
newca Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 (edited) Hello all, thanks for your concern, here is the update There would be a small piece of decal sheet and instruction come with the PE set. And we are taking preorders now at eBay, so, click and get it! Oh, for the clear parts, we don't have a plan now, because it is totally different product to us, sorry. cool8or Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Excellent!! I'll order some few in september. Thank you very much!! Quote
Cowpeeler Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Paid But on a side note...anyone have an idea why paypal.com gets a 404 page not found error and/or "There is a problem with this website's security certificate. Navigation Blocked" error when I try to go to paypal.com on my computer, but when I go downstairs on the other computer, it works fine. Any suggestions? Quote

big F Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Looks good although I dont have the funds now Im sure that this will hopefully lead to more Macross PE parts being made. Quote
Thom Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I don't have the funds... but I bought three anyway! I couldn't resist! Quote
Rhapsodyred99 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 dumb question, but why are they gold? What does PE stand for anyway? They look great but a bit shiney... Quote

PE = Photo Etched Refers to the way they're made. Look up photo etching for details. They're usually made of brass, which gives them their gold colour. Don't worry, you paint them! They're just shown in their "naked" state so you can actually see them. I'd grab these in an instant but can only use the cockpit parts, really. The rest is going to be hidden on my "super" build. Bummer. Edited August 28, 2009 by mickyg Quote

Clay Cliff Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 That set is very interesting. The opened intake is very nice option albeit a bit useless in the void of space. Quote

big F Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 but it's not in space, it's in your house LOL Seriously excellent details, the PE parts for the Vf1 had great detail but I think you my have surpassed them. Quote
