eugimon Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 anyone have a group shot pic of a 1/60 yf-21, yf-19, and vf-11b in battroid mode?
MacrossMan Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 My boyfriend is pilotoo! Ooohhh that is 1/48 weathered goodness there!
eugimon Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 YF-19: Freakin' gunpod show-offs!! hah, I actually have it stowed on the shield
Mog Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Couldn't see it there at first blush. But if you think about it, the poor YF-19 probably does suffers from "gunpod envy." The VF-11's got the bayonet. The YF-21 sports the dual-wielding action. Heck, even the original VF-1's got a bigger 'pod.
MacrossMan Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 That's so not right! You're cheating now! I actually love the new 1/60's and have a few. HLJ's latest sale its making it easy to play catch up while I am still indulged in 1/48!
sidearmsalpha Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 1/48 till I die baby! MacrossMan, this is one bea-utiful VF-1D custom! Still gotta nab me that VF-1A TV Kakizaki exclusive. Love the VF-1A TV Max. I can't wait to complete my 1/48 Vermillion Squad! I just need the TV Max to complete it in the 1/60 scale. I'm hoping to have a shelf set up for them with the new 1/60's in fighter mode and the 1/48's in Battroid. And you're so right about the side covers. They are a must. They look naked without 'em.
Mog Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) It's amazing how just a little bit of panel-lining can really make a Valk pop. **************** embrace the future! You cannot escape the past. Or "I AM your future!" Edited March 7, 2010 by Mog
homura Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Super ace couple! Edited May 3, 2010 by homura
AcroRay Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Tomahawk down! My Imai 1/100 Tomahawk buildup from '86 and my new Toynami Regult!
Mog Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Readying for launch I'm probably one of the few idiots that prefers, ever so slightly, the Stealth's regular fighter mode over the FP'ed version of the fighter. Must be the different shades of grey, blue, and black on the panel that becomes the battroid's back. Too bad a few of the stickers on the old bird are showing their age and wear though.

Whoa, what are the two jets there? They look awesome.
Mog Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) ^^The VF-1 is the Stealth color-scheme that Yamato released a few years back (with a few custom stickers and touches ). They released it with a set of black and grey Fast/Strike Packs around the same time Yamato released the Low-Viz Version 2 and the Woodland Camo GBP-1S armor. The bird in the back is a custom YF-21 I made a couple of years ago, when the 21's first came out. Pics of both are in the links below in my signature. Edited March 8, 2010 by Mog
MacrossMan Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I like the new 1/60's like most here, but the 1/48's are still no slouch. The 1/48 VF-1D conversion is certainly a hands down winner...especially if done properly.
logos Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Feeling a little bored today so I figured I would post some picks of my VF-27. Paint aside this is the first DX that I truly like.
DyNo Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I like the new 1/60's like most here, but the 1/48's are still no slouch. Oh yeah I too still have lots of love for the 1/48's. MacrossMan remember this guy...
MacrossMan Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Oh yeah I too still have lots of love for the 1/48's. MacrossMan remember this guy... Now that one brings back memories. Took Save a while to get it shipped because of all the madness happening at the time with the guy that went on a slashing spree. Nothing like seeing a recycled 1/48 getting the proper respect it deserves! I just used my last set of side covers that I got as part of the deal on LV1...drat! Got some plans for my 1/48 VF-1J and armor. Might be a few months out...but it's coming! Edited March 9, 2010 by MacrossMan
eugimon Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 not as nice as the 1/48 low viz but the new one has its own charm
boyarque Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hi, can my 1/60 vf-1a max tv ver land here? Jet mode:

Kicker773 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 1/48 Foreva... Don't make me bust out the Double D's with FP lol =)
Ignacio Ocamica Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 not as nice as the 1/48 low viz but the new one has its own charm Great pic!!! The pose, angle and lighting are perfect The 1/60 v2 Low Viz is one of my favorite toys!
MacrossMan Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Man I have to say it again...I enjoy the new 1/60's, but I am still a sucka for 1/48's! I still can't get over the beauty of my latest addition!!!
Kicker773 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Classic pose when the shirts were still available.. wish i had sweatshirt hoodie to go with it.. now that would be my favorite sweater..
Kicker773 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 that was taken with the old sony cam .. this one was with the new one.. but i think i still shook the tripod a bit
eugimon Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 the remotes are cheap but if you don't want to spend the money, use the timer function.
