adankree Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Hi Guys/Gals, What do I look for in the 1/60 VF-0S toy or box thats different from the first two releases? Does the VF-0S w/ Ghost, the lastest version? Are there any online shops that still carry it? Or should I even bother, since it may be re-released? Thanks. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 (edited) You can't, besides some clear plastic to protect the tail wings i think (from memory).. but i'm not sure if that hasn't already happened with the version one releases. You need to only go here - http://www.over-drive-inc.com/store/contact_us.php - Overdrive, send/e-mail them first and ask for the newer version here's the original page - http://www.over-drive-inc.com/store/produc...products_id=485, I'm sure they can get one for you, and can be seriously trusted which is important. And NO, the Ghost version is not fixed, the v.2 fixed version is single, not combo'd. None of them are apart fom the Half fixed from reports Shin VF-0S Ghost pack combo. We compared the arms, and could not see any visiable differences, and I have lik most people plced the new v.2 VF-0S in all sorts of poses and no problems. Valk-1S Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Isn't the VF-0S with Ghost the fixed version. It came out after the VF-0A Shin combo and I am pretty sure it's fixed. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Not sure, but i just talkedto a Ovedrive rep they might not have any more of the VF-0S, but i would give HLJ.com a try, but ASK for the fxed newer release! Quote
jenius Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 The Ghost version of the VF-0S (Not Shin's VF-0A with Ghost) is fixed but fixed differently from the latest release of the VF-0S. What the difference is, I have no idea. Ruskii is right, beyond that it's just a little piece of packaging plastic on the tailfins that indicates it was the newest release from what I recall from a thread here on MW. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 (edited) Yeah Jenius, People should take into account the Shin Ghost combo is a gamble, even though i have posed my 0A ars in all sorts of positions and no problems whatsoever, but that's only interesting if you want a Shin in the future. As for the Roy VF-0S, I asked Overdrive for you and they saidthey have none in stock, but by all meansask them to get one in for you, otherwise you can still ask HLJ.com but you need to send an e-mail and request the fixed version. Overdrive stated that this was the revised vrsion, and I was one of the first ones to jump for one and confirmed she is perfect and other people can vouch for this as well. Agent-GHQ Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Actually, both you guys are incorrect! Yamato never even corrected the minor gripe. Quote
General Chaos Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I got mine from www.toy-wave.com It was the fixed version with extra packaging for the tailfin. I would think you should be pretty safe with them because they had no stock and I had to wait for the re release. *Of course don't take this as gospel, you should check up with them using the "contact us" link. (Ken was usually pretty quick with his replys) Quote

Omegablue Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Hobbysearch recently got new stock of it, so it can be presumed it's the newer version? Quote

Valkyrie addict Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 You know it's not a first release when something OTHER than the arm breaks.... Quote
