Ignacio Ocamica Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 You should definitely try to get at least one v2 1/60 as others have suggested, you won't regret it Quote
anime52k8 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Pete Once again, wise words from the Macross philosopher. Buy the 1/60 VF-1D, it will be a lot cheaper/easier than going to conversion kit route. Once you have it you'll be able to decide for yourself If you wan't more v.2's. and don't think of it in terms of losing money. Toys are not investments, they are toys. Take them out of the box and play with them. Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 I'm angry that the only 2 VF-1s I have are 1/48s, supposed to have good QC, comparatively, and are lemons. Loose joints on Annie, stuff falling off of Angel. So, be happy you've got a good collection, and stick with it. The larger scale ones have great shelf presence, and they'll overshadow everything in 1/60. I'm glad you've decided to keep them. But also branch out into 1/60. As awesome as 1/48 is, it's not where the money is for Yamato, so they made the cool designs all in 1/60... >_> Keep the 1/48s and get one of everything in 1/60! Quote
Vi-RS Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 If you have a budget to fund your toy, I'd say sell off the /48 and start the complete line of V2 instead of getting some V2 to fill what have not been released by 1/48 line. I like my toy collection in the same scale, Quote
505thAirborne Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 If you can afford it, keep the 1/48's you really like as Yamato probably won't ever make that scale size again, With 1/60 being the scale size from here on out, Get a VF-1 V.2. I've got the VF-1D & Max's VF-1S, you'll be happy as hell with those!! Quote
Godzilla Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Dude, I have a hugh 1/48s collection. I love them yet I am unhappy that the 2-seaters are in 1/60 v2. Right now, I am being selective with my 1/60 v2 purchases. I bought me a VF-1S Max, VF-1S Roy, and VF-1D so far. Sure I have 2 custom VF-1S Max 1/48s but I like the 1/60 Q-Rau Millia to do battle with Max in scale. I am just getting the rest of the 2 seaters and I am done with the 1/60v2 though I am still debatin Low Vis Roy and the M&Ms. Quote
Kicker773 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Long live the 1/48!!! then the VR 1/60 came out.. duno like you i'm just gonna get the dual seaters... get someone to do a custom roy low viz (is that even really a low viz???) Quote
