alfye
Nice! Q-rea cockpit opens revealing Klan-Klan inside! (this makes me wonder if I still need to get the model kit) Mmmm, all those Robot SVF are non-scale figures, about 13cm tall, vf-25 & Q-REA have similar height... Too little compared with 1/72 model kits. In addition, on TV show, macronized Kuran(without Q-Rea) has the same height as a VF-25 on battroid mode Edited August 27, 2009 by alfye
the_foul_fowl
(continued from here ) The Robot damashii Q-rea was on display at C3. Very menacing. Also note the ball and joint on the lower arm, elbow AND shoulder. I bet its poseability will be amazing. Front shot. Again note the ball jointed hips, and ankles =) Group shot with the other announced VF-25. While the VF-25 looks kinda dorky, the Q-rea looks like it'll beat the crap out of anything. DarkReaper
That's why I already have it on pre-order. I think the robot damashi Q-Rea is enough. It doesn't need the DX treatment as there isn't a lot of detail to replicate and it's not transformable anyway. There should be a model kit though. Ghost Train
The crotch-blocks on the 25's are massive! ... but somehow they look ok.
Graham
Have to study the CG art again, but first impressions are the upper arms look too long & skinny on the Q-Rea toy.

A full Klan action figure to fit inside and some moving fingers would be sweet tho'. Anyway, I'm getting this one for sure, DX or not. Vic Mancini
I don't see anything on Macross Mecha Manual, so I'm going to assume the answer to this next question is "no"....but is there any official line art that shows how a Q-Rea pilot is situated in the cockpit? It doesn't look very spacious.

bluemax151
Where do her legs go? Into the "backpack" portion by Yamato standards.

eyesonme78
they're a real joy to look at, if only they were transformable.. i'd get multiples of them =)
Ghost Train
Despite a few design discrepancies, both 25's are looking really nice. Wish they can do something about that glossy finish though. Definitely saving up to get a few of those end of year.
BoBe-Patt
Where do her legs go? and does she come with a helmet? I don't remember her in the Q-Rea without a helmet.
regult
Don't jump to conclusions here! the picture shows an early sample, probably hand-made sculpture... maybe we don't even get a Klan pilot (unlikely) of your dreams come true and there is no face, only a helmeted "head" with minimal details a la VF-25 (those "pilots" have hands amputated out of the box!!) Ghost Train
At the minimum I trust Bandai in terms of consistency. The DX VF-25 was chubby and inaccurate both pre and post production !
eugimon
Yeah, we went through this when those first shots of the DX vf-25 came out and people were predicting complete resculpts and the most we got was that the canopy hinge got hidden. If I remember correctly... It's the model kit that comes with a Klan. BTW, the Q-Rea looks great to me, but the VF-25 script looks strange to me. Given that it is not transformable, it still look fatter than it should. The chest is too long and too low. Let's see how the final product looks. Still, it's inexpensive and I would probably get them too... Edited September 2, 2009 by ff95gj
anime52k8
This is not the Robot Damashii Q-Rea, this is the 1/72 scale model. Where do her legs go? Edited September 2, 2009 by anime52k8
m0n5t3r
This is not the Robot Damashii Q-Rea, this is the 1/72 scale model. We haven't seen the cockpit sculpt for the Robot Damashii Version. actually there's this one pic, bottom right. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...st&id=70777
Omegablue
Question. Where exactly do Klan Klan's legs slot into the Q-Rea?

Kelsain
So now that people have seen the product, is there a decent estimate for it's height? And if so, how would it compare to, say, a Revoltech Regult?
QuinJester
So now that people have seen the product, is there a decent estimate for it's height? And if so, how would it compare to, say, a Revoltech Regult? Should be roughly 12-13cm tall, tops, so around 5 inches. The regult would be taller.
