ff95gj Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Anyone has idea on whether they are going to release a VF-25S? I want it very badly. I want Luca too for the Skull squad, but I need the 25S worse. Quote

ff95gj Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Pleasseeeeeee, take my money! http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-120678-1-1.html Quote
jenius Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 WANT. I still haven't removed my Q-REA or VF-25F from their packages yet but I like the idea of this line. Quote
m0n5t3r Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) awesome!... and i see another LFO to add to my list. Dear Bandai... no more damned exclusives... pleeeaaaasssse! Edited February 5, 2010 by m0n5t3r Quote
CF18 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) Pleasseeeeeee, take my money! Oh yes... Original photos in case ToysDaily host get too slow: http://www.blog.amiami.com/amiblo/2010/02/vol1.html The K-Monster display label show both "Robot Damashii" and "DX Chogokin" instead of "<Side VF>". Hopefully it means we will see it as a general release in the DX line instead of a limited release. Edit: more photos source: http://ga.sbcr.jp/mreport/014435/ Edited February 5, 2010 by CF18 Quote
anotheran Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 OMG the K-Monster looks amazing!!! If they don't make a 1/100 scale Hi-Metal (doubt it) I'll pick one of these up! Quote

Ignacio Ocamica Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Thank God Bandai didn't kill the König release!!!! Love my Yamato König, but another release by a different company is a win/win situation!!!! One of my favorite destroids from Macross Quote
Vostok 7 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 OH FUDGE!!! MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That Monster is highly derivative of the Yamato but looks quite a bit smaller. Anyone seen shuttle shots yet? All the shots even in prototype have been "GERWALK" mode. But still, as long as it holds together and isn't a floppy mess like the Yamato was, it'll be 120% win. And the Full-Armor VF-25S? Yeah, not missing that one at all!!!!! I love my RD VF-25G and Q-Rea Quote
EXO Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Monster looks badass! I wanna see it in battroid though... which is where the yamato one fails! Quote
Rabidweezil Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Since the VF's in this line do not transform, I'd guess the Monster will not either. Hopefully I'm wrong though Quote
QuinJester Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Since the VF's in this line do not transform, I'd guess the Monster will not either. Hopefully I'm wrong though They've shown design documents that say it will. Quote
Graham Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Sigh............still no VF-171/VF-171EX. Graham Quote
eriku Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Sigh............still no VF-171/VF-171EX. Graham Perhaps they're saving the best for last. Quote
ron5864 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Oh no, that VB-2 Konig Monster has already took a chunk from my future $$. I will definitely get that. Quote
macrossnake Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Pleasseeeeeee, take my money! http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-120678-1-1.html The Konig Monster with all the stickers looks badass! Perhape a 1/60 version from Bandai oneday! Quote
regult Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I like the armored VF-25S a lot, but the gap in the leg armor is a bit distracting, they could've tried something different, or split the mold through some existing panel lines. Quote
DarkReaper Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I so have to get that Monster. Hope its only like 6000 yen max though. Quote
kamadoma Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 The Monster is really looking nice, I wonder how the other modes will look like. I'm not into the VF-25F and G though, they kinda lack the details, but the Armored one is looking good. Quote
rikiryou Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Yup, that's definitely a DX Chogokin Koenig Monster. =D Which would mean the price tag is gonna be hefty, hmm... http://www.blog.amiami.com/amiblo/2010/02/post-266.html http://www.geocities.jp/onegai_gaigar/ Quote

Either way, I'm looking forward to all of thse Quote
anotheran Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 So, I'm confused, is the monster a Bandai DX or is a Robot Damashii figure? Either way, I'm looking forward to all of thse From all the pics I've seen, it looks like a transformable "Robot Damashii". It's not inscale with the other DX figures (so it's not 1/60). Quote
Ivan Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 From all the pics I've seen, it looks like a transformable "Robot Damashii". It's not inscale with the other DX figures (so it's not 1/60). DX doesn't mean it has to be in 1/60 scale. The DX Macross Quarter is definitely not 1/60 or else it would be freaking huge (I am sure a lot of MW'ers would like to own one though). However, I do agree with you that the Monster belongs to the Robot Damashii line, albeit transformable. Quote
Tober Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Doesn't 'DX' just mean 'DeluXe'? I assumed it's Bandai's label for high grade toys. I have the Robot Damashii Nirvash and it's transformable. I'm also wondering if the Nirvash pictured in the WF images is a different release... Quote
m0n5t3r Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 RD or DX, just as long as it's a regular release and not a web exclusive. btw, the Nirvash is the Spec 1... that Trapar wave stand support for its board looks cool... Quote
Graham Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I so have to get that Monster. Hope its only like 6000 yen max though. Yeah.......right. I think you can safely add another 10,000 yen on top of that! Graham Quote
regult Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 +1 I wouldn't be so optimistic about a low price tag Quote
Scream Man Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 hey, quick question: What sort of size are these? I htought Robot Spirit stuff was tiny, but some of these pics make them look around 6 inches or so. Quote

Scream Man Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Sweet. pretty cheap too (all things considered) Might try one.... Quote
Vostok 7 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Sweet. pretty cheap too (all things considered) Might try one.... They really are very nice figures for the money. I've been very happy with the ones I've gotten, I'm happy they're doing more Macross and finally some UC Gundam stuff. Quote
Scream Man Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 yeah their FMP and Eureka 7 stuff had my eye, but a couple of Frontier 25's would be nice. Quote
Vostok 7 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 yeah their FMP and Eureka 7 stuff had my eye, but a couple of Frontier 25's would be nice. I did a "review" of the Gernsbacks in one of the FMP threads. Really can't wait for the Full Armor Ozma in this line! Quote
