Agent-GHQ Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 because demand went up.Then it must have sold well for another run! Quote
do not disturb Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 i don't "know it all", most of the stuff that gets posted here is opinion. you asked a question and i answered it based on my opinion. if you don't want anyone answering your questions, don't post it on a public forum. 4 years to sell through 1 production run = not a good product again its my opinion but feel free to make an arguement out it. Valkyrie addict Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 the sculpt isn't the issue, but that the thing can barely be posed or stands, very limited articulation, really half ass for something that doesn't transform, models are more articulated than this 'toy' Quote
regult Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 At least we had a chance with the Q-rau, poorly executed and all, it was made, twice. No Regult has been made so far...I think that's one of the most blatant absences! (no, revoltech and matchbox are not the same, to start, they're not 1/60) Quote
miriya Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Yamato should make them. We will buy them. I know I will buy at least one. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Sculpt wise the Q-Rau is perfect in my book I don't think it's an atrocious toy. The design doesn't allow for a lot of posseability to begin with. The toy becomes flopy where the thighs conect to the body (through ball joints). Very easy repair with nail polish. Both my Q-Rau's are fine!!! The knees are ratcheted and the arms never become flopy. The Q-Rau is a great toy and has a good shelf presence IMO. It should be cheaper though Make CF/purple Q-Raus, Regults and Glaugs and I'll build an army (I'm serious) Quote
ff95gj Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 I have no complaints about the Q-Rau script too. I think they look great as a 5(?)-year old product, and up to a modern standard. The articulation is not that satisfactory; but given the mech design, I won't say it's a failure either. I don't think a Regult would be cheaper than a destroid; it should be somewhat bigger in size...? It's not smaller than one anyhow. Quote
Omegablue Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I don't think a Regult would be cheaper than a destroid; it should be somewhat bigger in size...? It's not smaller than one anyhow. Agreed. And if they go for the pilot to be the size of a valk 1/60, the regult will tower the destroid. I still think it will sell well anyway. Aside from the Macross fans, the design is unique and diffirent to whats out in the market presently, and would bring in new fans and collectors. Quote
