honkhet Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 my God thanks for the great news! i'm a big fan of focker, and really looking forward to this release to pair up with my low vis hikky 1J Quote
Roy Focker Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I'm a big fan of Fockering too. Haven't bought a VF-1S version 2 yet. Worried that the Straight VF-1S Roy shoulder will break. This new Low Viz Roy is turning me off with the Yellow against the Blue-Grey. Quote

m0n5t3r Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 great first look pics as always ff95... it's still a bit too bluish-gray for me, so i'll pass... love Focker valks too but i'll be saving the money for the TV ver. Focker 1S... hey Yamato, hurry up! Quote
Agent-GHQ Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I want to see one with matching Strike Packs! Quote
Vi-RS Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I want to see one with matching Strike Packs! +1 It's so beautifully made. I'm glad to see that the new crotch system is confirmed to appear on every future release. Quote
Agent-GHQ Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I think this color looks fukin stunning! I remember seeing an episode where the color was much like this. Quote
niVL@Boy Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 ROY FOKKING GOODNESS!!!! wonder when this will hit my shore Quote
General Chaos Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Looks fantastic. New Roy with V2 mould updates has tipped me over the edge! I need a valk that I can toy with a bit more and what better valk than a new take of the iconic Roy VF-1S! Ahh it feels like only the other day that I got the V2 Roy thinking it would fulfil my VF-1 requirements, I am now a fully fledged addict! A question for those who use Overdrive: Can you modify an existing order to add an extra item via their website or do you have to email them or is it just not possible/worth the hassle? I have the VE-1 on pre order and figured I'd try and add the LV Roy to the order to cut down on some shipping but not sure if it is worth the hassle. Quote
logos Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Nice! To bad I decided to pick up the Virgin Road and VE-1 instead. Might have to add this to the list latter. Quote
eugimon Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 looks good. Wish it had more tampo like the CF 1j though. Quote
Vi-RS Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Batch 2 Hey ff95gj, mine is on the way, but can you dress up this babe with TV super fastpacks for now and take couple pictures of it in fighter and battroid? I'd love to see it with my eyes, I think it definitely looks gorgeous with TV fast packs. Quote
Agent-GHQ Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I think the TV FP may appear a bit light for it. I'd say airbrush it with a slightly darker of this gray. Quote

Sorry. Hope you get yours soon! Quote

505thAirborne Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 This picture alone is worth a 1000 words!! Awesome!!! Quote
Vi-RS Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 So what are the next variants that gonna come up with? No more announcement from Yamato? Angel birds? Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) I will get an Angel Bird.. eventually Need one to pair up with my Fanjet 1/60 of course. Edited October 12, 2009 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Great review as usual!!!! Waiting for mine to arrive Quote
Kyp Durron Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 It's a really cool paint scheme....as long as you're not looking at it as a "Low Vis" variant. I plan on getting one eventually. -Kyp Quote
Grand Admiral Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I'd like it a whole lot more if the yellow bits had been made grey or something. I understand they were trying to make it look "Fokker" but it really kills the "low vis" look. Quote
jenius Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 You gotta love the LV UN Spacy kite that couldn't dare be red on an LV bird... right next to the bright yellow trim. Quote
derex3592 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I'm trying REALLY hard to want this......but I just don't. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 You gotta love the LV UN Spacy kite that couldn't dare be red on an LV bird... right next to the bright yellow trim. Eh, I seem to recall some VF-84 planes that combined low-vis insignia with full-color markings. VF-111, too. May not be typical, but not without precedent. Quote
