Majestic Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 These schemes are awesome. However, I need more VF-1 ideas! I'm working on a customized jetfire and want a unique or interesting paint scheme, perhaps based off of modern day fighter schemes. Keep em' coming!
mbs357 Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 (edited) EDIT: If the pics don't work at first, try adding a space at their end in the URL bar. Here's a VF-0 scheme I did based on my clan colors: http://www.geocities.com/mbs357/mbsu4.jpg Here's another version: http://www.geocities.com/mbs357/mbsu4b.jpg (The insides are darker, as if looking through the canopy) They might not have fancy shading and all, but I think they look decent. ;] Edited January 27, 2004 by mbs357

Shmitty Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 (edited) This is my first try at this, the blank that i was working from wasn't very clean, and I didn't think to clean it up until after I was almost done. Anyway, I know there a few color problems, and the scheme is very simple, and the shadow is pretty sloppy. Owell, I think its a good first try as is, I might try to fix it up a little later. Tell me what you think! *EDIT* BTW, I did do some touch up work along the panel lines, but it's kinda hard to notice. Edited February 25, 2004 by Shmitty
hellohikaru Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Shmitty Nice try! What software are you using ?
Shmitty Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 (edited) Thanks! Photoshop 7.0, I've had it for a while, but I don't use it often enough to get really good at it. But it is the best thing that I've used (BLECH! MS Paint... ) Edited February 25, 2004 by Shmitty
the white drew carey Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 Hey Shmitty, where'd you get that blank?
Shmitty Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 It was in one of the earlier posts: Â (brainiac_08 Posted: Jan 11 2004, 08:07 PM)Â ha ha by the way I got it here: Miscellaneous blanks there are also more than that
Shmitty Posted February 26, 2004 Posted February 26, 2004 (edited) I updated that one I was working on, and made another for my friend who's favorite color is blue. Pretty easy job, just flip the colors... Updated Red one: Edited February 26, 2004 by Shmitty

maxjenius81 Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 (edited) VF-19 (not YF-19) blank Edited March 2, 2004 by maxjenius81
maxjenius81 Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Macross 7's Emerald Force with some extras thrown on like squadron logo (simple emerald gem) and though its too small to read, i throw on Docker's name on the cockpit. Couldnt find a first name for him so dubbed him John. Also on their is the squadron number (again made up) along with the designation for Battle 7, BC-07-1 Battle 07. I went back and redid my VF-19S blank much larger and with more detail and a better wing design. I think the shading came out much better this time and I know overall the artwork looks much better.

the white drew carey Posted March 8, 2004 Author Posted March 8, 2004 Update: On the first post of the first page I've added a new link to a great VF-0 blank. The detail is wonderful!!! Knock yourselves out!!!
hellohikaru Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 TWDC There seem to be no wing detail on the VF-0S blank or are my eyes in need of a check ?
wolframbane Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 I have been looking over a lot of these mecha color schemes, and I must admit I am incredibly impressed. Combine a passion for with a passion for Macross, and the results are, dare I say it... MACROSCOPIC!!!
