VF-11B Full Armour

post-9033-1242560940_thumb.jpg

Boy they do like full protect armour in VF-X2.

VF-X had the Strike Pack for the VF-1X Plus Valkyrie. (VF-1A version in white and Max colors)

Macross 13 Fleet?

post-9033-1242561413_thumb.jpg

Now it doesn't look like Battle 13 or Macross 13.

Plus Three Star.

Macross 13 Fleet?

It's got the wrong aerospace escort carriers. The Macross 13 fleet doesn't have the Uraga.

So which one is this? Macross 3? Maybe Macross 9?

That's the Saratoga II. It hasn't been assigned a class, even though it looks similar to a Uraga in form and function. I've been told it's called Macross 13 Fleet Carrier.

I thought Saratoga II was an Uraga variant  . Macross 13 fleet carrier? I supposed these carriers form the bulk of the ill-fated Macross 13 colonization fleet.

I thought that too, but the Compendium says there is no class assigned to the Saratoga II. I've been told the "Macross 13 Fleet Carrier" designation comes from the Miyatake Design Works book.

Yup. Wish I could give a name for that. But no name has been given other than "Macross 13 Aerospace Escort Carrier". (and though it includes the kanji for atmosphere, I think it's a safe bet to presume that means "able to function on water like a traditional navy vessel).

They just lost their Battle class section no biggie.

Mr. Wilbur Garland was creating an artificial crisis with Black Rainbow and Critical Path Corporation to better take over the NUNG.

Aegis shot him down on Macross City. Course that didn't mean his cronies were dealt with yet thus Battle 13 as their final card.

Battle 13's gunship range and scattering fire can take multiple ships. Instead of a solid beam like we've seen with other Battle class.

Speaking of Battle class check out this one.

Looks like a Meltran designed this one.

Finalized design

Looks like elements of the two initial sketch Attacker mode were used.

Yeah, I'm not getting anything.

Has Mr. March forsaken us...? :o

Highly doubtful... I've experienced this a few times in the past... my guess would be it's regularly scheduled maintenance at their webhost. It'll probably be working again in a few hours. I'm not getting any response from the main part of the site either.

It's the parent site which is down. So, I don't think it's Mr.M who's done anything. (Drat, Seto beat me to that part)

It has gone down in the past once before, for me. But it was restored within an hour or so of my checking. This time, it's been longer.

Even if the parent site is down indefinitely, the material itself won't be lost. Mr. March's working copy is probably still safe on his hard drive, and if need be he knows he can always contact me and I'll get him a subdomain on my site with unlimited bandwidth for his use.

Yup. Try refreshing your browser/clearing the cache.

No dice... I tried everything up to and including purging my computer's DNS resolver cache and the site still doesn't load. So far, all I'm getting is a "Server not found" error, as are several friends of mine in different parts of the continental US.

Maybe their .com expired, and the reason why it's been down for you guys longer than me is that it's taking your ISPs longer to restore the connection?

It expired. (Information withheld to avoid spamming)

Registrar of Record: TUCOWS, INC.

Record last updated on 12-Feb-2009.

Record expires on 13-Feb-2010.

Record created on 13-Feb-2008.

So what happened to March? I remember Seto saying something about him not having internet access, but that was a while ago. Has anyone talked to him?

Yeah... it's down for me again.

Which makes me ask: why did it start working for me again? My Japanese ISP found a ghost of it on the 'net somewhere?

Dunno what's become of Mr. March, but I haven't seen him online in at least a few months.

Either way, the domain name expiring wasn't his fault, as he wasn't the person who owned it in the first place. He was just sort of borrowing space on briscojr84's generally defunct U.N. Spacy Quartermaster's Tactical Database site. It looks like bridcojr84, who hasn't been on MacrossWorld since ~November, probably either forgot about it or deliberately let his web hosting service expire.

I've e-mailed both of 'em, so we'll see what comes of it. If I can get ahold of March, M3 might get a new (at least temporary) home elsewhere on one of my servers. *shrug*

The border gateway protocol does strange things sometimes...

The site still works for me.

Like I said, BGP does some strange things sometimes... it may be that if you clear your browse cache you may no longer be able to access the site. I double-checked azrael's findings and the domain record expired 2/13/2010, so the domain doesn't seem to have been renewed.

Anyone try putting in a host file entry?

Doubt that'll do any good... does anyone know the site server's actual IP address?

I sent Mr. March a message a while ago asking him if he'd mind if I used his line art and directed people to his site in my reviews. I didn't get a response either way so I started doing it assuming if he got back to me with a negative I'd just take those parts down. I hope it does go back up, I really enjoyed it and was hoping I could push more traffic there.

Well, this really blows, we just lost the most comprehensive Macross Mecha site there ever was. :(

All is not lost. As I said, Mr March has a copy of the site stored locally on his hard drive, so if briscojr84 doesn't want to renew the domain registration on new-un-spacy.com, he can still get the site put up somewhere else just as long as it'd take to upload the files.

's not lost... it's just temporarily unavailable. It'll be back.

My computer at home clears the cache after every IE session and it didn't work there. At work, where I would think I've never been to M3 it works... so, maybe it started working again while I've been at work?
