MacrossJunkie Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) I guess the smallest transformable ones would be Bandai's high-comical joke machines? That the smallest that I can think of anyway that did some sort of transformation. Edited April 21, 2009 by MacrossJunkie Quote
Graham Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Kaiyodo & Movic (K&M) variable VF-1 figures from about 5 years or so ago. Far smaller than Joke Machines. Quote
MacrossJunkie Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Kaiyodo & Movic (K&M) variable VF-1 figures from about 5 years or so ago. Far smaller than Joke Machines. Oh right, I remember those now. I only saw pics of them once from one of the toy shows. Did they eventually come out for sale in stores? Quote
regult Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Are they any good?=Why would you want tiny transformable toys? 1/100 is small enough for me! Quote

(I know, sacrelidge) Roy (Skull 1), Max (Blue) and Milia (Red). Quote
AcroRay Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 The little SD Paro Valks are pretty tiny, too - about 2 inches tall: Quote
jenius Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) I swear this exact same thread was here not long ago and the winner was a Japanese garage kit that was 1/144 but fully transformable including an integrated heat shield. Beyond that Kaiyodo's atrocious (from a toy perspective) partsforming gashapons. Edited April 21, 2009 by jenius Quote

Beyond that Kaiyodo's atrocious (from a toy perspective) partsforming gashapons. There was a thread but it was in general to both toys and models. The example you just gave is for models. novaflo, is asking only about toys. Still a redundant thread, but here nonetheless. Quote
macsam Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 wasn't there micro machines made. I think it was just for Mac7 tho.... Quote
Graham Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 wasn't there micro machines made. I think it was just for Mac7 tho.... Yes, but they were non transformable. I still have them. Graham Quote

Beyond that Kaiyodo's atrocious (from a toy perspective) partsforming gashapons. I got to try transforming that at Wonderfestival a couple of years ago. It was incredibly fiddly, extremely lose and had no locking at all that I can recall. From what I remember, many of the parts were joined together by wire or fishing line. Graham Quote

Actually, jenius has a review of the Kaiyodo and Movic variable VF-1 toys up on his Scorched Earth Toys website, surprised he didn't mention it. Graham Quote
MechTech Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 That's cool! It's even got a "bottoroid" mode too! - MT Quote
