Sluff Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Would anyone else like to see some of the aircraft from Yukikaze make it to the 1/60 scale? I am not saying model kits, I would like to see Yamato or Bandai actually make a line of fighters. Anybody else interested? What about Area 88 or Ace Combat Fighters? Quote

There are "toys" , most on clearance now on HLJ. http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Dis=-2&Ma...chpage=top_page Closest you can get to a 1/60 toy, the 1/100 by Alter http://www.hlj.com/product/ALT20801 Quote
Sluff Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Thanks Wolf, I knew about the 1/144 but not the 1/100, looks like I will be placing an order with HLJ soon Quote

Geez why Alter 1/100 MAVE is taking so long? Quote
Dobber Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 What about the endless wait for the 1/72 FFR-31 and FA-27 kits!!! I really think they have just been canceled at this point. Chris Quote
Kicker773 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 the designs are really awesome and larger scale of their planes would be great especially as a pretend to be enemy for a VF1 or a 21 or 19 Quote
areaseven Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Do we really need another Yukikaze thread? http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=4489 Quote
Valkyrie Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Do we really need another Yukikaze thread? Since this one doesn't have certain... connotations attached to the title, I'm inclined to say yes. Quote
moose Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Thought this might seem interesting I might be getting these new one considering they are on a bigger scale then the 1/44 and the onlyl other thing in 1/100 is a model the look really http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-SCL2-09513&page=top 9,980 JPY Quote

They only it at 5% saving for pre-order. http://www.hlj.com/product/ALT20808 And its about time we see these. Quote
Chronocidal Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Holy cow. Expensive for the size, but still tempting, considering the insane amount of accessories for it. Bombs with deployable drag fins? Yes please! Really does irritate me that Yamato can never come up with a stand as elegant as that though. Simple, clean, functional in a variety of poses, and doesn't take up twice the footprint of the plane it's holding. Quote
Jasonc Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I don't think anything (as of yet) is slated in terms of Macross for September. I put mine on preorder for this. It's too incredibly nice looking. If only it was in a 1/60 scale to match my Valks, I'd have it on display with them. Either way, I'll be swooshing this thing around the house. Quote

I missed out on this release back in the day http://www.hlj.com/product/ALT20801 and ended buying the 1/144 scale which was way to small this is not bad but could be bigger Quote
electric indigo Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 More (and bigger) pics at Hobbysearch Quote
Archer Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 About how big is 1/100? (Sorry, don't know the fighter's relative sizes and what-not). Furthermore, I hope those pilots are removable I think I'm gonna put this on pre-order for safety anyways... Quote
Dobber Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I think the pilots are. Check out this picture....there doesn't seem to be any pilots in there. I too preordered last night.....couldn't resist! http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10179959a3/20/3 Chris Quote
GU-11 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Wish I had the spare cash for all this. Some pretty expensive stuff I pre ordered is coming soon, and I can't risk spending any more money. And like the others, I'm pretty curious as to what size these 1/100 scale planes are. Quote
the_foul_fowl Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Back in the day, Bandai used to make 1/100 kit versions in their EX series. dalong is my goto place: Comparing it to a mg gundam, using the cig pack An mg gundam is about 12-15cm tall. Using the cig pack, looks like the 1/100 Mave is gonna be around 10-12cm long. I'm mixed about this. While I love how it looks, and the size is larger than expected, the best price of 10000 yen exc shipping is a huge amount of money. Sorely tempted though! Quote

And it doesn't even transform. My local hobby store has both up for pre order, but there's no way I'm paying that much for so little. The price is just ridiculous. Quote
