lanis Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) No battloid but the gerwalker mode transforms in the exact same way! Tails fold in and the rear folds forward and all! Had to do a double take when I saw it in game. Edited March 29, 2009 by lanis Quote
anime52k8 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 haha, oh wow... someone at EA must be a fan of Macross. Definitely has elements strait from the VF-1 Quote
MDP310 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 haha, oh wow... someone at EA must be a fan of Macross. Definitely has elements strait from the VF-1 oh man, Tengus RULE. In the air they can shoot down pretty much anything that isn't another dedicated AA unit, and on the ground they tear infantry apart. My favorite unit is still the Kirov airship. Nigh-indestructible, bomb-dropping Zeppelin FTW. Quote
REbirth Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) RA 3's Empire faction is a huge pay off to eastern (or moslty anime) pop culture. They have samurai with lightsaber, psychic school girl (Yuriko Omega), giant robo (King Oni), Valk (Jet Tengu)... and the Empire's supreme weapon is a big Samurai robot with 3 heads The expansion is gonna have a Samurai-ish upgrade for the King Oni and a spin-off campaign for Yuriko herself And Starcraft II has Valk too, they are called Vikings IIRC, and Destroid Monster-lookalike called Thor. areaseven Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 So it has Valks, but you guys forgot to mention that Red Alert 3 also has Kelly Hu, Gina Carano and Gemma Atkinson (no one cares about Jenny McCarthy, anyway). Quote

the white drew carey Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Yeah, this news is almost half a year old: MW Thread on "valk" type mechs in RA3 Welcome to MW... learn to use the Search function! Quote
EXO Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 it looks just like a valk, except for the chicken stance... Reminds me of Rohby's bomber zero, except rohby has more originality... Quote
