Texan29 Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 Hey NERV, I don't know of any chemical solvents to do that but you could do it if you had the right thread tap. It'd cut the glue right out of the threads. If you can't find any solvents, this will work if you're careful to line it up correctly and make sure you use the correct threaded tap. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=50891 Quote

You can dissolve super glue using something called Z7 Debonder. I use it all the time. It's available at most hobby stores and probably hardware stores, too. I'm sure they aren't the only company making the stuff, though.... Quote
VF-1Guy Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 I've seen a number of different brands of super glue solvent. I use the Jet stuff. You should be able to find it at hobby or hardware stores. Quote
Skull-1 Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 Nail polish remover. Absolutely the best thing ever invented for removing super glue. Quote
