Gubaba Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I'm not 100% certain, but I believe that song is titled Cinderella. You're 100% correct. Quote
SkullLeaderVF-X Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 (edited) So, I'm watching Macross 7 (ALL of it) for the first time and I'm finding that I REALLY like it! Much more than I thought I would. And I've noticed that the music, while I thought it would be bland and very J-Pop-ish, is VERY nice and has a lot of variety. I seem to appreciate Mylene's singing more than Basara's and love Sweet Fantasy and Dadeko Baby! So anyways, I give Macross 7 a lot of credit and wish it had been more popular than it was, at least in the US. <img src="http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I still want a Mylene only version of Light the the Light. Ghost Train Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Not Macross per say, but May'N sings the op for Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi, Ready Go! . (My favorite show this season ). Quote

Britai 7018 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 The behind the scene videos can be found on the DVD and Blu-ray releases of the concert, on the second disc I believe. They're incredible! Highly recommend the actual concert itself, although it does get a little slow in the middle. Quote
Elektrix Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I still want a Mylene only version of Light the the Light. I just finished my annual rewatch of Macross 7, and this was the first time I noticed that the Mylene version of Light the Light isn't on any of the Macross 7 albums (for some reason on this rewatch I noticed a few other Macross 7 songs I somehow never really noticed - the most egregious being Kimi no Todoke, a song that is used quite frequently near the end, but for whatever reason I think I kept on assuming it was just another Mylene song like Pillow Dream or something). I'm assuming at this point in time though, will just have to live with the various song versions that haven't been released not coming out. Quote
Tochiro Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 The behind the scene videos can be found on the DVD and Blu-ray releases of the concert, on the second disc I believe. They're incredible! Highly recommend the actual concert itself, although it does get a little slow in the middle. They sure are! And in the digest of the Yokohama concert I can see the back of my head in the crowd ;-) Quote
Seanzilla Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) Not Macross, but a new May'n song for the upcoming movie The Incite Mill. When the cell phone comes up, click on the button, then on the next screen, click on the first "New" in the blue section on the left. Her song kicks in about 2/3 of the way into the trailer. http://wwws.warnerbros.co.jp/incitemill/ EDIT: Found a less complicated trailer on youtube: Edited September 8, 2010 by Seanzilla Quote
Jasonc Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 This is so awesome!!! Damn, that song is much harder than I expected. That was truly awesome. Quote

Seanzilla Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 May'n's new video Shinjitemiru for the movie "The Incite Mill" Quote
Tochiro Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Nice find! I saw her do this live at her summer tour a few weeks back and was wondering if Flying Dog would do a promo clip! I like it! Quote
Seanzilla Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I like it a lot as well. I am glad to see them have a little more production value for her videos. Seems like they often just have her in a dark room sitting or standing there singing. Or in the case of Ready Go, just a pure white background. This one however rivals the production of U.S. made music videos. I hope the song is a success for her. Quote
frothymug Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 This showed up on my recommended Youtube videos when I recently logged onto YT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZPHQ-r5h1E It's nice. Not as good as the original, but a good cover nonetheless. Quote
boinger Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 markcell posted this weblink in the Macroshare shoutbox. May'n 3D movie Phonic Nation I am not sure if it is a concert or a documentary. Quote
shiroth Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I am not sure if it is a concert or a documentary. Apparently it's a film. Sounds more like a concert though. Quote

MegaX Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Does anybody know if there is a Macross Frontier Movie OST coming? They have new remixes of the songs such as Alto's Theme in the movie. The guitar part sounds awesome. anyone have any tabs? =P Quote
shiroth Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Does anybody know if there is a Macross Frontier Movie OST coming? They have new remixes of the songs such as Alto's Theme in the movie. Nothing announced, though there's no surprise because the TV series has a number of pieces that never made it onto the two released score soundtracks. This always happens with Yoko Kanno. Quote
shiroth Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Hougako Overflow, Songbird in Macross F Radio Really liking Songbird, and must agree that Megumi's voice has improved quite a bit. Quote
shiroth Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Previews of the eight tracks from the upcoming Christmas album, cosmic cuune are now up on youtube for those interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2wPcLTUk_w Track 2 (I can't be silent) is obviously my favorite out of the lot. Seikan Hikou Christmas ver. is rather nice though, along with track 5 (Love~Phantom Light). Track 6 (Sailor) has such a beautiful piano melody that i just adore. Track 7 (Merry Christmas without You) is a funky little track, that really boosts up the Christmas spirit. Track 8 (Tablet) is a nice song to finish the album with. Oh how i'm loving this album. Not one song disappoints, plus there's plenty of range which i'd expect from Yoko Kanno. Only a week away now! Edited November 17, 2010 by shiroth Quote
Oihan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This is so awesome!!! Amazing...simply amazing!!! I wish I could play the guitar and that song. Quote
Oihan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Has anyone else heard these two versions of "Tenshi no Enogu" before? First one sounds like it's from a concert. Quote
Gubaba Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Has anyone else heard these two versions of "Tenshi no Enogu" before? First one sounds like it's from a concert. Yeah. The first one (as the Youtube uploader said) is from Mari's 1984 half-live/half-studio, kinda/sorta greatest hits collection, Variée. The second is the 15th Anniversary version from the Minmay-Mylene duet single (Minmay version, of course). Quote
