Macross World Daddy Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I bought a couple of Hasegwa Macross kits from Ebay (Hawks and Moon Shooters) and they arrived all crushed. I went off on the shipper because I told him 6 times to ship them carefully and he didn't. Well.....Now he is willing to send me two new boxes from the factory (flattened) and I want to know what type of glue to use, in order to make them look like they came from a store and not screw them up and have the glue come apart later on or worse. big F Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 In the past when repairing boxes in my collection I used UHU glue the tube type is nice and gloopy and sets well and doesnt run like some paper and card glues do. once set it will need to be torn to get it appart again. sets in about a minute as well. Kelsain Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I'd use double-sided tape. There's a brand called "Super Tacky Tape" avail. at Michael's or Hobby Lobby that's acid free and very strong. Quote
Macross World Daddy Posted March 23, 2009 Author Posted March 23, 2009 Thanks guys. I found some UHU sticks and it works like a charm. Quote
