anime52k8
Yep, I've still got all three of them.
areaseven
If I recall, the U.S. market received a lot of MSIAs that either never saw a Japanese release or came in much later. I had the Deluxe Albion Playset, and it was pretty sweet once I panel lined it. I also hooked up MilkManX with the MSIA Re-GZ & Back Weapon System Set, which I think didn't hit Japan until several months later.
Beltane70
I always meant to get both the Albion and Musai sets, but never got around to getting them. I did however, buy Re-GZ set.
ErikElvis
super excited I have the metal build destiny coming this week. If its anything like the Exia it should be great.
SuperHobo
super excited I have the metal build destiny coming this week. If its anything like the Exia it should be great. Exia seems a little simple compared to the MB destiny. Destiny is super spiky, has neat sliding panels in the knees, chest and wings. The engineering in the weapons are also pretty cool. It should be an awesome piece for you man. I will say make sure you have the side skirts pointed away from the body because they could get caught under the torso and cause some paint chipping. A definite improvement over the MB freedom.
anime52k8
honestly, I skipped MB Destiny mainly because it was so spiky.
DarrinG
What is the difference between the Metal Composite Ka and the MC Origin figure? ---- never mind - found this video review: Edited April 16, 2014 by DarrinG
joppewo
So it seems like we're getting the 1/35 Metal Composite RX-78-2 that was displayed at TamashiiNations2013 later this year http://gundamguy.blogspot.sg/2014/04/gundam-fix-figuration-metal-composite.html Edited April 24, 2014 by joppewo

Holy crap this thing is gonna be huge. So will its price, I imagine.
joppewo
Yup PG's are 1/60. No confirmation thus far if it'll really be in 1/35 though, only TagHobby seems to put a scale to it at the moment. Might have to shift the funds I saved up to buy the Metal Build Trans AM 00 Raiser for this instead
Archer
They promo'd that 1/35 GFF 4 years ago, but it never went on sale. IIRC, it's a non movable statue (well, the hatches work), and Bandai reps were saying a price tag of about $800 - $1000. Again, that was 4 years ago. We don't know what's changed, or why they decided to bring this back.
Loop
I don't think I will be able to swing something priced as such although it's huge. I am not even sure how this would fit in to my collection either, guess I will just look at it from afar lol.

joppewo
So the Metal Build Freedom is getting a re-issue in August: http://tamashii.jp/item/1667/ Hoping for a Seven Swords re-issue instead now

joppewo
The Strike Freedom is in the early development stages if I'm not wrong. Was posted somewhere in the robotjapan forums earlier this month.

Loop
Yeah I love my Seven Swords, I would like for everyone to be able to get one. I think they should have started with that then go fwd with the rest of the MB catalog. Bandai loves to tease their customers.
eggy99
http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2014/06/metal-build-gn-001hs-a01-gundam.html Didn't see that coming. Milking Exia mold even more. Thinking if I really need another Exia. Avalanche Exia is pretty awesome though. Where is the Strike Freedom?!?!
anime52k8
not sure if want. it'll be expensive and I don't really need a second one, but that is kind of cool.
eggy99
http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2014/06/gundam-fix-metal-composite-unicorn.html And GFF MC Unicorn with the green psycho frame is announced. Wonder if it comes as Full Armor version. If it's the same mold without improvement to the articulation I'll stick to the 2 prism coats I have. I really wish it had better poseability. Banshee Norn soon too?
joppewo
I think that the Full Armor Parts might see a web exclusive release, adding it as a full release might bump up the cost too high. Either way I'll prob grab myself two of the Green Psychoframe. The Banshee wasn't that well received I think, so Bandai may not be so keen for a Norn. Fingers crossed! It's only a matter of time now that we'll get a MB Qan[T] and probably a recolour variation or full burst for TamashiiNations exclusive down the road eh. Scyla
So the preorders for the Gundam Fix Figuration Unicorn Awakened Mode are already gone? When did the listing start?
joppewo
They started on the 10th. NY listed on the 11th and it was up for quite a long while there.
Loop
Scyla, BBTS has it still on pre-order. I got one there, it's 199.99 but that seems pretty fair for a stateside pre-order. I figure with the paypal conversion rate and EMS I would have paid that anyway. I am not sure what HLJ was charging because they always go back to list price when the pre-order closes, so it's @ 197 USD.
close313
Metalbuild Avalanche Exia's up for pre order at NY https://www.nippon-yasan.com/gundam/8213-metal-build-gundam-avalanche-exia-limited-edition.html
eggy99
That brings me up to 4 Exias now. It would be 5 if I could find the original Exia/R3 release for cheap to convert into R2 Exia.
DarrinG
Think this is the right thread for this - kind of a Gundam novice. I picked up a Gundam Metal Fix #1004 - really, really like the piece. Such a hefty, solid feel. Lots of extras and the tampo is so crazy awesome. Took some outdoors shots before I packed it up . . .
Ignacio Ocamica
Yeah, it's a great figure, this ver ka RX-78 has the best proportions IMO.
VF-Zer0S
I really like the origin version better. Still waiting for a reissue. Hopefully with the movies coming out they pump out reissues along with a zaku II
eggy99
Looking good! I would have gotten this one if not for the Origin version.
eggy99
If anyone is looking for a pretty cheap MC Banshee. http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-1489506.html ¥12,000 Was almost tempted, but I'd prefer if it was Banshee Norn.
joppewo
^ditto. It's highly probable that the Norn will be a Tamashii exclusive in my opinion *fingers crossed* And I like how "severely damaged" is a slight tear on the upper side of the box Edited July 26, 2014 by joppewo
ErikElvis
I have that banshee and I really wasn't impressed with it. I guess what rely bothered me ws the gold. It really looked too toy like.
Loop
Metalbuild Avalanche Exia's up for pre order at NY https://www.nippon-yasan.com/gundam/8213-metal-build-gundam-avalanche-exia-limited-edition.html They are out of the [Weapons Plus Pack] version, so I pre-ordered one off nin-nin. They said they don't charge until it ships, but my CC was charged and this won't be out until Dec. For some reason BBTS raped on the pre-order price for this release.
