Wanzerfan Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I'm suprised you haven't been slapped for flamebaiting areaseven. I swear, you must be trying to piss me off. Alex Wright and Glacier were both jobbers that weren't even fit to be in the ring, and Disco Inferno was just as big as an ass until the demise of the WCW, when he finally came up with a finishing move that was even worth a damn. areaseven Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Also, wouldn't Marky Mark or Snow be a more appropriate nickname than Vanilla Ice? Not really. Marky Mark has become a fairly respectable actor now. Snow does reggae, not rap. I'd give Cena the nickname Eminem, but he doesn't deserve that. Quote

I got a chance to see this entire segment. Great to see The Rock behind the mic again. And Michael Cole as a heel announcer? I just don't see it. Not as convincing as Jonathan Coachman. Speaking of which, Coachman should quit ESPN and return to WWE. And while we're at it, WWE should bring back Kevin Kelly. That way, The Rock can call Kevin Kelly an ugly hermaphrodite and make Coachman admit to making out with farm animals on a weekly basis, just like the old days. Quote
UN Spacy Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 One more.... BACKSTREET BOYS?!? BTW. The only thing that new promo (which was the GREATEST thing in the last several years) was missing was The King and Jim Ross. How come they're not on Raw anymore? Quote

Lawler is still doing color commentary for RAW. Jim Ross retired from commentating and is now more active behind the scenes with talent scouting, development and payroll. Quote

renegadeleader1 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Elimination Chamber... Good God all those matches sucked! I feel bad for my buddy who ordered the damn event because he seriously believed they would let Jerry "The King" Lawler win the title over the Miz. Its nice they brought Trish Stratus back and all(brunette), but it was painful 2 minutes watching her try and imitate The Rock. Best part of the night was watching Morrison go all spiderman and climb up the chamber and hang from the roof of it. Too bad he did such a s*** job pretending he got a knee injury from it. "Ohhh I kick you...wait my knee is supposed to be hurt arrrrrgh... now watch me climb the ropes and moonsault you!" My last gripe was the retarded Raw GM computer that interupted the last cell match and let pepsi boy come back after elimination by Orton because he supposed got stuck in his chamber. Guess what happens... He eliminates Orton. Stupid crap like that is what killed WCW. That and the NWO coming down to the ring interupting a good match just to talk smack to sting and goldberg. Quote

renegadeleader1 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 well that was AWESOME!!! Good to see The Rock actually take a bump and get physical, for awhile I was afraid this would turn into Brock Lesner vs Goldberg all over again. I hope this ends with the Rock annihilating The Miz, his man servant, and Cena the just walk off with the damn title. Like these jabroni's ever really had a claim to it. Just one more thing... "Where I grew up!"... really Cena really? I live in MA. West Newbury is far from what I would call a ghetto rich boy. For that you would need to come from Lowell, Lynn, Chelsea, Springfield or parts of Boston itself. You wouldn't last 2 minutes in Jamaica plain cracker. Also do us all a favor and stop looking like your going to cry like a baby everytime you get up in the Rock's face. Seriously though I'm pretty sure judging by the huge smile on Cena's face he's living a dream being in the same ring as The Rock. Quote
areaseven Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 With that in mind, here is the card for this Sunday's presentation of WrestleMania XXVII: World Heavyweight Championship (SmackDown!) Edge (with Christian) vs. Alberto Del Rio (with Brodus Clay) WWE Heavyweight Championship (RAW) The Miz vs. John Cena Undefeated Streak at Risk, Again - No-Holds-Barred Undertaker vs. Triple-H Special Guest Referee: Stone Cold Steve Austin Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Michael Cole (with Jack Swagger) Randy Orton vs. CM Punk Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match Trish Stratus, Nicole "Snookie" Polizzi and John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler and LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool) (with Vickie Guerrero) United States Championship Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan Eight-Man Tag Team Match Kane, Big Show, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Corre (Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater) Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre Quote
anime52k8 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 In significantly more interesting wrestling related news, WWE superstar Chris Jericho finishes the first 2 weeks of competition on Dancing with the Stars tied for 4th place with a respectable 42 out of 60 combined score. Overall he's not bad. perhaps not top 3 material, but I can see him sticking around for quite a few weeks. Quote

Mog Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Maybe I've watched too much wrestling over the years, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that Christian's turning heel and costing Edge the title. Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 heres my predictions for wrestlmania World Heavyweight Championship (SmackDown!) Alberto del telemundo wins after Santino tries to interfere and fails. Either that or Rey Mysterio turns heel and screws Edge over. WWE Heavyweight Championship (RAW) The Rock takes everyone out and make off with the title. Undefeated Streak at Risk, Again - No-Holds-Barred I'MMMA THE LAMMMMMEEEA wins and breaks taker's streak VIA sledge hammer provided by HBK in revenge for last wrestlemania. The rest of D-X make surprise reappearence(X-pac included) Special Guest Referee: Stone Cold Steve Austin Lawler wins nuff said. Randy Orton vs. CM Punk Pepsi boy takes this one again. I hate Orton... Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes hmmmm this match isn't exactly what I would expect from a wrestlemania match. Still Rey wins Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match If there was ever a sniper in the crowd this is where I would want them to pop up. I actually want LayCool and Ziggles to win after hearing Trish's lame Rock imitation at elimination chamber. United States Championship Damn Sheamus how do you go from WWE champ to this??? jar o' mayo wins this one thanks to Cole Eight-Man Tag Team Match This may be the most entertaing match of the night considering who is in it. Seriously that is one screwed up tag team... Big Show AND Kane? Satino's team wins only after the big two are eliminated and Koslov pulls something out his butt. Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre what is this the dark match? Token vs bravefart? The southafrimaican takes this one. Quote
