Now this is "f*****g" sweet! ;)

Here's my "Angels" contribution.

I was trying to find a good Charlies Angels pose and I ran across this one...maybe not the best. But I sure like it.

Now....Minmeis Angels :D

trying out the black background.

I like the way it offsets the valk. Seems to be a bit much light though.

Last pose for the evening. While setting up this shot I got really disappointed that someone has yet to cast some V.2 1/60 DYRL? fists. Anyone up for the challenge?

Great photos Macross1979!

Thanks! I took 2 more...just can't help myself. This 1D is so awesome!

Who do you think you are? Superman? Pssshhhh...this one turned out a little blurry. I had a hard time fitting the whole valk in with my set up. Not to steady of a hand I'm afraid.

And then I messed with some effects. Tell me what you think.

nice work! The improved lighting makes a huge difference. So now that you have the intensity down, play around with the position of the light for dramatic effect or to add contrast and volume. And also start playing around with angles and perspective. Like that superman pose, if the camera were lower and pointing up, it would exaggerate the effect.

Thanks for the pointers. Unfortunately I don't really have alot of options for my lighting. I am working on that. And I just found out this morning that my tripod can make a quick adjustment to hold my camera so it will take better "tall" "elongated" pics! YAY! I will be working on this and sharing. Any cool pose ideas anyone?

A little destroid love... just because the last time I took a picture of it I had it being thrashed by Miria...

Mmmmmmmm.....I like it! I need to get my hands on some Destroids.

Let's adopt a little orphaned Meltrandi girl she said. Meltrandi children need love too she said... For Petty Officer Third Class Dixon, "bring your daughter to work day" was always a little more difficult than for most parents...

It's simple: Give her a piggyback ride on your valk!

EDIT: Just... Make sure it's not the same piggyback ride Miria's giving Roy. ;)

Taking your advice mate. Let me know what you think of this first shot. Pretty good angle I think. If you use your imagination it's like you're seeing the 1D from a security camera type view.

You see, I wish I had skill to start with. No way I can take great pics like that. Great job, 1979!

Seriously mate. It's nothing. I have a...

Point and Shoot camera I got on sale at Circuit City for $100

A tripod from wolf camera (nothing special) $20

A coffee table, a black back drop, and some mad posing skills...

PRICELESS!!!

But really. That's what I got. You can bring it.

That is it!!!! I have to get super parts for my VF-1D!!!!

Wow eugimon, that is the best picture of the tomohawk I have seen. It looks like the color is lighter. Did you repaint it? The visor actually looks like a visor here instead of a silly happy face.

Loving Nausicaa.

That is some great depth of field stuff! Keep up the great work.

Deculture !!

Camera's no issue

A tripod from wolf camera (nothing special) $20

Have a tripod, prefer desk-stabilized shots

A coffee table, a black back drop, and some

Don't have that, nor do I have space to get it.

mad posing skills...

Back to my comment, "I wish I had artistic talent..." I'm not really good at posing stuff. Except my Gundam models and action figures. (Because they're so easy to pose.)

PRICELESS!!!

But really. That's what I got. You can bring it.

That said, I can make my 1/100 scale Strike Gundam action figure do some poses that the PG Strike can... I want PG Strike...

Thanks! I didn't repaint it, the color is just because of the light, it's facing a window in the late morning so there's a lot of light hitting it plus quite a bit of reflected light off of the table. All that light washed out the color and illuminated the visor so I could actually pick up the "eye" detail. With a little spot metering for exposure I was able to keep the whole thing from being too blown out. Glad you liked it!

I'm totally digging your "joy of valkyrie" pics and i'm glad they're getting the exposure they were denied the last time you tried to show them. B))
