grogall
Figure King 319 isn't bad either, almost 40 pages on D.Y.R.L. 40th Anna, with some nice interviews and toy info.... Sadly nothing new presented though.

Just saw this in akihabara. Although I just flipped through, seemed nothing new if you had other books on plus..of course I don’t read the Japanese text.. twich
I am assuming that these are custom model kits that this magazine or some amazing modeler's put together for this magazine? I have to say that I am really digging the designs! The different fast packs for the VF-1's and the SV-51 custom is just awesome, I think I prefer that to Kawamori's design, as you don't have to worry about floppy wings in a toy! Twich Yes...they started the first few issues with "in - universe" type customs...but the last few issues have been VF mash-ups with other anime shows... Could this be the same bonus offered directly from the Kadokawa site? If so...would explain the higher price that Yoyakunow has listed it for....proxy fee? So far looks like just one version....it's "oversized" because it is 288 pages....so slightly more pages than the Macross Variable Fighter Designer Note....and that was a pretty thick book....until we got Kawamori's Macross Designer's Note which came in at a whopping 624 pages! If this Mikimoto book is truly ALL MACROSS....it will be epic...
