cobywan Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 The perfect memory book has been scanned and is available online from the Archive Scans site. Check out the iMacross Server section for info. Quote
ahiachris Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 nice! i'll get the whole lot. as for other vehicles: - lifting crane truck - disposal truck (smaller than the centipede) - wide flat bed truck even bigger than the centipede, so maybe call it millipede? all three are in the perfect memory book can't wait for christmas! MajorFocker: which truck are you referring to? Is it the one that carrying the wrecked destroid? Thanks for Cobywan and I'd now got the linearts of the perfect nenories book. Quote
MechTech Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 I think he means the "meat wagon" to haul off damaged destroids. I definitely would like some of these. Time and price are factors for me. You may also want to check over at the Starship Modeler boards. I KNOW these will sell well if they aren't over-priced. - MT Quote
Major Focker Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 yeah, it's the meatwagon. unfortunately, i only have a small pic: here's another flatbed, albeit a smaller one: disposal/goods truck: container truck: lift crane: Quote
ahiachris Posted August 21, 2009 Author Posted August 21, 2009 Major Focker thank you for the lineart. I'd already downloaded the Perfect Memory and finally was able to see how much linearts were in this book. Here is the teaser of another new project. It is still in the development stage. Due to the artist that work on the original design of the lineart did not pay too much attention on the feasibility, I will need help from anime magic to tackle some problem on the vehicle. Hopefully it will turn out fine. Quote
cool8or Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Great! A set of all vehicles that you are doing, would be a tremendous addition to our collections!!! Quote
cowie165 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 What a great time to be building 1/72 Macross! To think, in five years, the subjects created by ahiachris, valk009, and moscato will be no doubt be very hard to find! Quote
ahiachris Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 There's another scale? Sorry. For the moment everything roll out will be in 1/72 Quote
ahiachris Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 I know, in less than five years Moscato's releases were already very hard to find. I'd spent a lot of effort in finding all the destroids released by him. And the final piece (Destroid Phalanx) is still enroute to HK. I'd only got one of his regults with me. I have some good friends in here that is willing to hold their Regults until I save enough. I'm hoping that by releasing the ground vehicles will help getting the funds to buy other 1/72 kits like the DYRL Launch Arm. Do hope someone in here will release some ground/space support crews. cowie165 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 There's another scale? One scale to rule them all Quote

007-vf1 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Shouldn't be better something like.... and on the shelf we'll bind them? Quote
PetarB Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Do hope someone in here will release some ground/space support crews. You never know...! Anyway, fantastic work here, looks great. Quote

See? See? I'm not the only one who struggles with line art inconsistency! By the way Chris, your vehicles are looking good; I encourage you to keep it up! Quote
MechTech Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 If you don't follow through and put these wonderful sculpts into production, you're going to make a lot of people upset! On the other hand, if you follow through (unlike others in the past), you'll make lot's of new friends! - MT Quote

ahiachris Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) Well... the tractor need a layer of primer to do some final check on the surface details. It's almost finished and will be send to the caster and hope that he's able to make a mold for the tractor. The initial run will be 30 kits. I still thinking on including a navy drawbar and wheel chokes for the kit. There's no price range for the kit yet. I'm not going to start a new thread for this project yet. I'm hoping to share it with those who are following this thread. Anyone that's interested please let me know. Surface detail of the kit. Parts break down Edited September 23, 2009 by ahiachris Quote

Grayson72 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 So will you be releasing all these small vehicles individually or as sets? I'm definately down for them either way. Quote
ahiachris Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 So will you be releasing all these small vehicles individually or as sets? I'm definately down for them either way. I am planning on rolling out the electric supply vehicle, the tow truck then the APC. No plans to sell then as sets. Yet interested parties can buy then together. Will let you all know hopefully end of this month Quote
MechTech Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 AWESOME work! I don't do much 1/72 scale anymore, but even I'm interested. - MT Quote
neko_fr Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Hi! I'm deeply interrested, put me on the list please. If I have enough money I'll take one of each (I hope so... ) Quote
