i'd also want the tv roy to come with a gunpod strap and some diagnostic wires that can attach to the chest.

I've only got a VF-1A so far in the 1/60 so i'd much rather get a tv version roy with all the bells and whistles like tv fast packs and stuff.

So if Yamato made a TV version VF-1S Focker, how many of you would be interested?

The only other thing I can think of that I missed is perhaps a new tampo printed instrument console.

Anything else?

Graham

Graham, as Sh002 pointed out, don't forget to inform Yamato about the gunpod straps too! :D

I have a quick question guys.

The VF-1S Roy Focker with Super and Strike parts is the fixed edition right? While the VF-1S Roy Focker stand alone is the one with exploding shoulders?

None of the VF-1 v2s have been 'fixed' but I think the standalone had a higher number of broken shoulders than all the other VF-1v2s

love to add confusion to the already confusing situation, my VF-1S V2 roy is stand-alone, transformed it a bunch of times already and no exploding shoulders that I can tell. Hate the fact that it was re-issued with packs and I bought them separately...good things come to those who wait (cheaper too), about the supposed fix, Graham pointed out they actually did not do anything about the shoulders (or am I dilusional??)

Now that I am back in town....I've finally had the chance to read over this and the other "Hero" threads.

>EXO< - Decent job on this one mate.

Yeah, stop the damned shoulders from breaking.

Graham, a TV VF-1S may actually be the perfect way for Yamato to "reissue" the VF-1S Roy with fixed shoulders, without diminishing the value of the DYRL versions out in the market.

I have VF-1S with Strike parts and both shoulders are cracked. Now hopefully Overdrive will get back to me sometime on replacements (thank God for this at least!). Now that I have loosened those ball joints I think it will help to prevent future cracking. Still love the toy though.

Question:

For those of you who got replacement shoulders from Overdrive, can you tell us how long it took from you submitting the email to getting it processed?

I've asked them about this, with the following changes made from the DYRL version: -

1) Change the colour of the arrow markings on the head from yellow to black.

2) Include TV style hands.

3) Include 2 pilots as the VF-1S is flown by 2 different pilots in the TV series - 1 TV Hikaru pilot and 1 TV Focker pilot. No need for a new sculpt, the Focker is just a repaint of the TV Hikaru. Also, no need to change the packing design. 1 pilot can be shipped in the cockpit and the other pilot in the plastic tray inner packing as usual.

4) Include TV Super Parts.

The only other thing I can think of that I missed is perhaps a new tampo printed instrument console.

I'll be very interested thanks Graham!!

Ask them for a Misa figure!!! Forget the Hikaru, as that will make people buy the 1J, but what we really need is a helmeted MISA!!!

Hw about Misa figure sitting on Hikaru's lap, as shown in the show ;)

I still prefer a Hikaru & Focker figures to go together with this release.
