ron5864 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 This all started a few years ago when I made a few short animations (using Macross/Robotech figures and dioramas) for some buddies (also Macross fans) of mine. Then other Macross fans started asking for more. Therefore our group came up with more ideas. So here is a short teaser (25 seconds) of the next fan animation with some stills from the teaser. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNzMxkQ24ps By Macross Fans for Macross Fans.... Enjoy! Quote
boinger Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Pretty neat! Would you be able to get the animation smoother at 24 - 30 frames per second? Would you be able to composite the toy models into SDF tv anime series? Quote

Dag man, most illustrated animations are still on the twos at the most, often on the threes when they can get away with it. I would say just do some frame blending on the off frames to give a little more smooth appearance, or integrate some motion blur. I'm pretty wowed by the whole thing, though. Quote
