veffidas Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I was looking through these posts, and realized that what I have has already been shown, but here they are. I really like the 2nd one...Apparently, this is Mikimoto's only rendition of "Dana" (yes, the Robotech name, but I can't think of her original name). That poster is just amazing. And minty clean. Got it for $35 at AX 2009 That'd be Jeanne. It looks like I need to find some time to make it down to Anime Expo; that's where everyone seems to be getting theirs in recent years! Quote
Jasonc Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Thanks, I actually came back here cause I just remembered her name. But I got the only one that the guy had. If you go today, go to the anime link booth, they have a good amount of Macross posters from Macross, Mac II, Mac 7, video games, and others in various combos. It's one helluva fun poster to look at. Just more to add to the collection. Quote
veffidas Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 That's okay since I actually meant I'd have to make it down sometime in the undetermined future years. I'm really not in a position to make it there this year at all, but I'll definitely keep the name in mind for when and if I ever do get a chance to head down to Southern California. Quote

Not sure exactly where you can find those posters specifically, but I usually check ebay, and usually google for poster shops. Did you have in particular you were looking for? I was actually hoping to find a poster of Madox-01. Don't know if one exist or not. Quote

mospeadamacrosstech Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Solscud007: What is that? It looks like a 1:48 Valk, but I don't recall the paint scheme. It is SICK! WOW! That is one Valk I wouldn't want to cross! Quote
Chas Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) Does anyone have a copy of the fold out poster from TIA #11? It was one of Minmay sitting in a blue &whit striped (simapan?) nightshirt with both arms raised over her head. I used to own this but over the years it has disappeared. Haven't seen the image in years and would like to, I miss it. Edited October 22, 2009 by Chas Quote
Project_mr2 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) Been a Fan of Macross for years, just noticed this DYRL 2012 poster has been posted yet. Edited November 26, 2009 by Project_mr2 Quote
Totoro242 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Been a Fan of Macross for years, just noticed this DYRL 2012 poster has been posted yet. Thats a cool poster, and one of the few FB 2012 posters produced. I have a pic of it on my website, but its not a good pic. I think some of the best Macross posters are these folded magazine posters. Fortress_Maximus Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Love the Mikimoto trio poster of the three girls and the mecha heads! Anyone else see this poster anywhere else? Thanks. For those of you who went to AX this year did you pick up any other posters? Please share. Thanks! Quote

For those of you who went to AX this year did you pick up any other posters? Please share. Thanks! I picked up a couple Macross II posters that have already been posted in this thread, that's why I didn't post them. I have a ton of posters that I just haven't put up here, due to them being packed away. One of these days, I'll try to get them all out. Quote
shiroth Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 CDJapan has a pretty decent offer going now, where if you buy one of the selected Macross related CD's, you get the crossover poster. Both are on this link. It's a good chance to get a hold of such an awesome poster, though it means re-buying a soundtrack i already have. A small price to pay. Quote
tom64ss Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 (edited) It's been posted before, but it looks pretty in a frame Edited November 2, 2010 by tom64ss Quote

MIsaHayase Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 These are nice. The only Macross one I have is the Silk one and the Group one of Macross, Macross Plus and Macross Zero - all the rest of mine are the Robotech ones. Quote
Bub Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I got this picture from the convention thread. Char350's picture: There are no fold marks. Where can I get one? Quote
Jasonc Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I got this picture from the convention thread. Char350's picture: There are no fold marks. Where can I get one? I believe that came from the Gold Book, and if I remember correctly, does come folded. It could be that whoever owns that poster made a pricey copy of it with no folds. It's an awesome poster. I have 2. Quote

From what I remember the gold book poster and the perfect memory poster were bootlegged so that you can get a poster with no folds. I think blackaces had these for sale back then. I could be wrong, but I know for sure someone had a bunch of these for sale back in the day. Quote

So nice, you had to say it twice!!! There's nothing like vintage posters to look at. Something about being able to see the art of the day, and in such a large version that is displayed in its artistic form, that just makes them seem so priceless. I just got a poster yesterday, not Macross related, but it's the Comico promo poster of MOSPEADA, advertising for the Robotech New Generation comic series. Just a gorgeous poster, and in very good condition. Takes me back to a fun time in my life. Quote

I didn't know it would later come out that way. Yeah it definitely takes you back to a certain time. Geez I'm showing my age. I have soft spot for the posters/pics with water colors. Quote
